Hey! So happy for you! When I went through my cancer healing journey one of the things I did was see a functional doctor and learn about my food allergies. Long story short, once I implemented the changes my results required, I got better and got to a healthy weight ❤
I just recently lost close to 20 pounds .. I drink a lot of water, no greasy foods and very low sugar intake…. It’s all about making it a lifestyle and not just a diet ! Thanks for sharing this Shanna!
My biggest challenge is to increase my water intake! I drink water, but not enough… I will fill up my 30 oz Stanley and I will drink it all, but that’s it and my goal is to fill it up 2 more times to drink a total of 90 ounces of water for the day! No juice/No soda etc. It’s truly easier said than done, but I have to do this for myself! I’m boarder line addicted to “Ocean Spray Grapefruit juice” …the sour, but sweet taste got me. I truly wonder if it is the sugar in the juice that makes it so addictive! I truly believe Sugar is a drug, that we don’t really make it sound that serious. I’m not big on desserts, cake, muffins, donuts etc. I don’t care for stuff like that. Candy etc…Not my issue. But Juice …smh. I have to pray on this…even though I’m a stranger pray for me y’all. My eating habits are pretty good, so I just want to work on only Eating calories, NOT drinking them! 🙏🏾
@@HappyStylishMommy❤ Thanks for the words of encouragement! I’m 39 years old and I know pretty soon my metabolism is going to slow down more and more as I get older. I’m trying my best to quit juice or any drink with sugar added. I’m just praying for discipline. Thanks again ❤
I definitely want to incorporate more fish/seafood into my diet! I love the sweatshirt too...I plan to get each of my daughters either the cap or t-shirt. 🤭 Tfs 🫶🏾
I was a vegetarian from 2015 to 2019 and loved the results, but I needed more protein in my diet. Recently, I stopped eating chicken and turkey. I haven't had beef or pork in 23 years. I've now decided to cut out all meat from my diet again, and I'm going to make sure I incorporate more protein. You've got this, Shanna! 💪🏾Thanks for sharing😊

That salmon looked so good. I am increasing my water intake as I had slacked off and decreasing my coffee intake, because I have not weened myself from the sugar creamers. Baby steps is what I tell myself.
I have to try that cookie and date recipe. It looks delicious. I love eggs as well. I started eating egg whites to help keep my cholesterol down I believe you can buy them at Whole Foods. I purchase mine from Aldi. Great video as always.
I love to snack too, but it has definitely led to me having a big back 😂. I’m doing mostly whole foods and meal prepping with a focus on high protein. My goal is to be in the best shape of my life by my bday in May.
Excellent content and words of encouragement❤ I prefer fresh fish. However, at times that’s not realistic. As a result, I like to keep these two seafood staples in my freezer. I purchase wild-caught frozen scallops at Aldi’s. Make sure it says wild-caught on the package. They are excellent. You can locate an Aldi’s over on Halsted slightly north of North Avenue in Chicago. There’s an Aldi’s on the first level and a Trader Joe’s above. They also have a great cheese selection. Now I have not been at that location in months. Hopefully it’s still there. I purchase wild-caught (individually packed fillets) at Costco. They’re in the frozen section. Make sure it says wildcaught.$18-20 for a box of 6 filets.
I also cut out most of my processed foods. Surprisingly, things that are low-fat, non-fat, no-sugar-added, are all processed! I’m on full-fat Greek yogurt now to help me get enough whole food protein during the day. Good luck, everyone, we got this!
Ok , I thought u were already on that type eating habits. I never seen u eat nothing more than what u mentioned balance is key in what we eat . I eat what I want but in smaller amounts and been same size for over 10 years but iam on alot of medications too, also Don't know goal u looking for, is it healthy eating, u already doing that, or weight loss. Sometimes you got to eat to loose but in right way. I've been same 84 pounds for 10 more years and eat what I want. Good luck on new habits . I also run around a good bit on my job so that helps , too. Good luck on new habits, etc....😊
