Obi Wan always held a very special place in my heart. Suffice it to say I've been through quite a bit which I won't get into, but this tribute was always a cathartic release for me. Thank you for reacting to it and well done. If I may, I would say that Kenobi was more of the tragic figure. Anakin, while quite tragic in his own right, was manipulated by the very real fear of losing the one he loved. Still, in the end, it was his desire for power to abate that fear in never losing anyone again at the root of it. Obi Wan lost so, so much and each time he tried to continue to do what he knew was right. Even at his end, he kept his promise to watch over Luke and gave his life to see his safe. I love how after everything he went trough, he still knew how to smile. Obi wan is such an inspiration in so many ways. How to not let hatred get to you, how to never lose your sense of humor, how to love withoud getting posessive in doing so and his ability to rise above the darkness no matter what. The truest hero in the franchise for me, especialy after what they did to Luke in ep 8. Obi-wan Kenobi. The man who grieved, who lost, who made mistakes and yet never gave up, never let the weight of these things stop him and never lost hope untill his very last breath. (Him protecting Luke shows this also).This man deserves his own series. And yet, new footage could also ruin the character if they try to be edgy and character assinate him (which happend with Luke as well, for the sake of ''bold'' story telling.) I hope they never miss with Obi-wan, and the best way for that is to never have any movies/shows with him in it again. But if it does happen I hope it's done by somebody who knows and honors this character and doesn't go for cheap shock effects or ''plot twist'' story telling.

As far as the bigger tragedy between Anakin and Obi-Wan I would have to say Anakin. Not only for the mental and emotional trauma but for the physical as well. Poor guy lost his limbs, his speech, his hearing, his penis, his ability to use the bathroom in any kind of natural capacity. He was a mess and the suit made lots of noises which made sleep very difficult. He was always tired and in pain. The channel "Star Wars theory" has some videos about how awful and isolating Vader's suit was.
well i went and turned in the apartment keys... used that as an excuse to visit the lady that I met, but she wasn't home. might as well forget about her. she knows how to find me if she's interested. although she said she isn't looking to date so.... at least there are cats here.
Kenobi was the one of the best of the Jedi and arguably one of the strongest outside of Revan (Yes better then Anakin and yes better then Yoda (he had to deal with far more pain an hurt). If you had a choice of someone to admire as a Jedi you do not get any better then Ben Kenobi.

@@dylanleff373 lost his wife,lost his mother, lost his padawan, was always ignored by the council, his master failed him, he was groomed by Palpatine, had all his limbs chopped off, burned, was always in severe pain, was always angry (with himself not other people which is the worst kind of anger), whenever he was in pain or scared no one in the jedi order helped him one bit, the jedi order basically made Ahsoka leave because of how messed up it is, gets told he killed his wife and un-born children when he didn't. Don't get me wrong Obi-wan's story is tragic and he is one of my favourite characters but there is a reason why the whole of star wars is about the tragedy of Darth Vader.

Ewan Mcgregor IS Obi-Wan, and he was the best character in the prequels. Change my mind.
