Welcome my channel and happy to show my country to Spain. I was only in Spain in 2018 and loved what little I did see. Thanks for stopping by to watch this video and glad you liked it 😁
Wow! So many cool places. Sandy point looks absolutely beautiful and I would love to swim in Stoney creek! It’s nice to have a good cold swim when it’s hot outside 😍😍
More like freezing swim ...lol. too cold for even Matt to get in the water too but glad I got in. Byfield National Park was an awesome stop on the way up the coast. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching 😁👍
Wow!! So beautiful landscapes!❤️ Sandy point take my special attention cuz looks like a perfect hot spot for kitesurfing!! A sport that I totally love!❤️❤️❤️ Big thumb up my friend!^^
Your right...more surfing would be really great to do here. I think most people would have trouble getting their gear here if they don't have a 4 wheel drive though. Probably why I didn't see it this day. 😁👍
I visited so any national parks on this trip. Only episode one of about 15 so far... stay tuned for more 😁👍 Thanks so much for stopping by to watch...glad you enjoyed it 💖💖
Yeppoon beach looked amazing! The green of the creek was a great color loved the drone footage :) The Sandy Point views and drone footage was amazing, but it did look like a long ride out there :) Great first episode for Queensland :)
Stoney Creek looks amazing. I love the color of the water but good to know that you shouldn’t dip your head in! The water looked so calm! Very cool that you guys got to use the 4WD! Sandy point looked gorgeous! The color of the water, the sand... all of it!
I'm sure in a more rainy season putting your head under the water will be fine. Coming out of winter is very lacking in rain. I could still see it running but just on the safe side. Sandy point was an amaxing lunch spot and really cool to stretch the legs of the 4wd...lol. amazing spot indeed 💖💖
Some perfect scenery out there Chris but hey, it IS Queensland. Not so sure about swimming in 15° water 😳 I'm more a 25+ myself 😊 Great video, with an abundance of information and lovely images. Take care and all the best 🙏🍺
Wow...this was an old one you found but glad you liked it. It started off the road trip we did to come and see you at cobbald....feels like a lifetime ago 😁👍
@@AquariusTraveller Hmmm 🤔 not sure how that happened. I thought I was clicking on your latest video, however no harm done. I shall do that right now 🤣
Stoney Creek has a summer wet season, as long as there is rain there wont be a problem with Algae. Also remember it is in a rainforest area so generally plenty of rain.
You need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get there and not everyone has one. So if it's harder to get to it means less people are able to visit. There was 2 other cars that we saw, plus a couple more when we were driving out... but this was a long way to go and you would never feel crowded. We are hoping to find more beaches like this soon, but when you find the older footage you will see a lot of beaches that are easy to get to have a lot of space too 😁 So glad you liked it 💖
Corio bay road was definitely slower and annoying compared to the beach driving. I'm trying to look up Google maps for the street name but doesn't seem to have a name. We drove corio road to Sandy point but followed another car along the beach to get out. It was a fair hike from sandy point, at least 10 to 15 mins drive and from what I can see there are a few exit/entry points. We drove along the beach until there was a sign for no more beach driving. I hope that helps 😁
@@AquariusTraveller I think you go past the abandoned resort and turn right at the T intersection. That is Corio Bay Fish Habitat Reserve Road. Turning left takes you to the resort golf course. I've been part way up the reserve rd in my '93 Corolla CSi and it is a bit of a goat track. Definitely going to the Bangalee Beach access road and turning left heading north to Corio bay would be a lot easier. Being beach driving, a 4WD is a must. Great video too.
@@mattwilson1669 guessing your right...seems like forever since I've been there so can't quite remember off hand. Such a beautiful area and will live going back but last time was a trip to great keppel and didn't have time. Cheers for the comment though and glad you liked it 👍👍

Hi, Which part did you off the beach? is it a better access than Corio Bay Rd?
Corio bay road was definitely slower and annoying compared to the beach driving.
I'm trying to look up Google maps for the street name but doesn't seem to have a name.

I hope that helps 😁
It might help that it was near the Capricorn international resort. From what I can see on Google maps there is 2 entry points to the beach here 😁👍
@@AquariusTraveller yeah will do, Im planning to stay at Red Rock camping ground and do Stoney creek then Sandy Point after.
