When roots will grow, you will not be able to pull it out without damaging the plant or the roots and will have to cut the lid. Smaller glass and problem solved.
I had spider plant propagation thriving in soil until my cat chewed it(they are not toxic to cats like snake plants don't worry), and its been barely hanging on ever since.
Did you know there is dissolved oxygen in almost all water. Especially when she sprayed water into the cup creating surface agitation. The plants won't be in long enough to warrant an air bubbler like in a hydroponic operation, and since you add water the little surface agitation will suffice for the trace amount of dissolved oxygen required by a plant with absolutely no roots to little roots.

Or you can just put the baby plant in a mini pot with soil it will grow
Sure🌷
I do that exactly; direct into moistened soil
Or simply rest the pot on a larger pot with soil, wait until the plantlets root around it, detach and transplant
Hydro is faster for spider plants but yeah I agree soil with a toothpick holding the plants down works too
What u do with the stem , throw just like that or else u can plant it too ?

I don't think spider plants need much water because the leaves will turn yellow...I have but only one and I water it once a week.

You actually don’t even have to Root those Plants ! You can just stick them in dirt directly and I’ll grow roots !
Sure.😊🌸🌷
Don't know what I do wrong but when I do it they always die.
@@bettyestarks7806 they like indirect Sun light 💡 and they like to be Dry ! Good luck 🍀 Talk to them 😳
It's me again. I'm so worried about her. I tried to send a picture of the babies. Long brown little things which I thought were root.
@@bettyestarks7806 I’ve found over the years they like to be neglected 😳Let the Soil dry out between watering and they do like indirect sunlight !!👍
Does this really works? Just water? Really?
