Jagex has finally released the TOA combat achievements. Some are hard, some are tilting, most are tedious, and ALL of them are completely broken.

honestly pretty upset about the 8-man team requirement. how the fuck am i supposed to get that many good players to go for that task with me. guess i wont partake in trying combat achievements
I was already not bothering with those but I'm definitely not now because of that one lol. What's the point of doing any if you're locked out of achievements because you're missing one?
Haven't they talked about restructuring combat achievements so that individual achievements have an assigned point value instead of a tier and you can claim the rewards for a tier when you reach a certain total? That would let you get to at least master tier even with that in the game and possibly even grandmaster if the new system doesn't require 100% completion.

FYI - for both elite Baba boulder tasks, you can simply go in with a bunch of brews and just face tank all the boulders. Technically you don't "break more than 4" nor do you attack any weakened boulders. So you can do both tasks at once.
Perfection of het took me and my partner several hours of straight resets. By far the hardest of all combat achievements in my opinion
alot of doubling down on shitty invocations and mechanics with this release shows me that they have no intentions of fixing the myriad of things that are horribly wrong with this raid
also them releasing CAs bugged as fuck and once again leaving it to the players to QA for them shows they really don't care about high level pvmers lol

@@Theviewerdude The entirety of BABA. Lying about the fang to nerf it probably because they never QA test anything. The CAs themselves, mainly perfect CAs, no1 really likes those like in tob and toa. invocations like medic or path invocations that really only increase the amount of time in the raid and arent skill focused but more annoying. These are just a few and i could keep going.
@@ro0b0 Yea they really dont care about quality of content tbh, not even quantity either. Pvmers just get fucked by jagex constantly, while skillers get shitty content that they trick themselves into thinking is somehow fun.
stand on the south bridge of zebak and he won't toss poison on the SOUTH bridge, he can very rarely toss a poison on the north bridge on one of the tiles. Also first solve for roar is usually always on the south near zebak.

The wiki doesn’t say anything about being able to combine hilts 3 or 4 with defenders. Is that actually a thing, he says at 6:07
I think only the top 2 hilts can be combined with defender. That being said it'd be cool to use the lower hilts on defenders (hilt 1-2 on rune, hilt 3-4 on dragon).

there is a gurantee way to avoid poison splats on croc. just stand all the way in either corner and it never splats there

Getting full max bis is actually pretty hard. Unless you're a main but even then it's still challenging because of the CA. I think it's fine though The rewards are very decent

Mmm yes. 8 players in max gear playing near perfectly for an achievement. Seems reasonable. Definitely relevant content for anyone with the requisite skill.
