Smfh chiefs got Orlando at left tackle and creed at center now. I swear people don't even kno how good this kid is. Wrestling background and a pure beast at Center and a natural leader. With those two alone that god awful o line is gonna turn around. If they can fill the other holes the chiefs are gonna be back to almost unbeatable again. Amazing pick by the Chiefs and they got Orlando brown from the Ravens who didn't wanna be a right tackle anymore. Both those guys were imo tye best O lineman Oklahoma has produced in a long time. Man good job by the chiefs office.
Two Sooner greats on that O-line. It's exciting to see the team they're building. I'm a Dallas fan but I won't miss a KC game this season.

chiefs got a good one. should be the best line mahomes has played behind since he became the starter.
He was playing with Alex Smith old Oline.. no Oline upgrades since 2013 not single draft pick.. Mahomes fin go beast mode without trying.. this just set the difficulty level to easy..
He’s good but you had the best tackle in football and your LT was a pro bowler too
@@chasemccoy7604 brown is also a pro bowler and still improving at 24 so LT is a wash at worst, and schwartz was great but barely played last year, and he was the last significant UFA we signed on the OL and that was back in 2016. the interior in particular has been a weakness since mahomes took over and that has been massively upgraded. instead of two good tackles and covering up for replacement level players inside, it’s now strong across the board.
@@shayeasy you do realize he was the 28th in 2019 and 20th in 2020 most sacked qb in the league those years his line was really good those years and I don’t see this line being any better especially because you’re just throwing all these parts together it’s gonna take a while for them to mesh
@@chasemccoy7604 he only ranked that low because of how good he is at avoiding sacks and escaping pressure, not because his protection was anything close to good (again, especially on the interior). every OL is just “thrown together”, but this one has more talent and depth than any he has played behind. they have the whole summer to mesh and thuney and humphrey are both A+ leaders and communicators. the Sooners won the Joe Moore award for best OL in college football with humphrey anchoring the line and calling out protections on every snap.

I know right? !!! I'm so ready to see these guys keep Mahomes clean and give Mahomes just one more second in the pocket should keeps D coaches up at night. This kid is good and I think will become great.
The biggest thing holding the Chiefs back was their O-line, IMO. It shouldn't be a problem now tough. Mahomes should be a lot more comfortable in the pocket now with the improved protection. Chiefs gonna be scary this year.

Love this move, Blythe can be the starter this season and Creed can play guard and get some reps at center and learn the system. The next season we will have Brown, Thuney, Humphrey, Smith or LDT, and Niang. We would have a young line for the next 6 to 7 years.

I wish the NFL would replace hard exterior helmets with an expertise like foam. NFL centers like Creed take a beating from helmet to helmet contact on almost every play. Remember Pittsburg Steeler Center Mike Webster who dies prematurely of CTE? I don’t want that to also happen to outstanding young man like Creed.
His worst play was still a positive offense play.. lol
