Big collection from around the world. Large-size (bigger canvas) and older (vintage/historical) banknotes with really fantastic artwork. I don't tend to collect full sets and don't care to organize my notes based on continent, country, theme or denomination etc (sorry). They are intentionally randomly placed in the album since I enjoy each and every banknotes as an individual piece of art without any labels or category. I started collecting in 2018 and wish I started sooner. Love ur collection, lots of excellent notes. A few points i would like to mention: 1. Maybe u can introduce a bit of banknote’s history into each of ur banknote. 2. Maybe u should separate original banknotes from the copy ones, just not to confuse viewers. Overall, u have a fantastic collection, love ur large sized banknotes. They r extremely cool.

I find that on videos where i talk a lot (more history etc) those are the least viewed video- why do you think that is. Am I putting ppl to sleep...hehe

Wow, a lot of people are posting videos on their banknotes' collection but this is another level; most of these banknotes are unique, rare and well preserved... for example that green color Palestinian note on the right side, down at 5:15 must be worth of at least USD 1500 and above
The Palestinian note is a reprint on a watermark paper. There are only 3-4 reprint notes but rest are all 100% genuine and it took a lot of patience to find them in the great condition (mostly EF+). Thank you for looking🙂

I purchase nearly all of my banknotes on eBay and I dont have any particular eBay seller/store that I buy from or have repeat business with. I look for the best deals and most of the notes I bid on and sometimes get lucky. To be honest dont remember who I bought the Tibet note from. I recently bought some more Tibet notes and will post it in a video soon.

Hello. I bought almost all on eBay through different sellers over few years. I dont have any one seller to recommend since these old banknotes are usually hard to find and I search for best price. Besides ebay, also can checkout delcampe.net and ma-shops.com websites. Best to find a local coin and currency shop where u could see the notes and buy without paying for shipping.

This is a Lighthouse Grande album with Lighthouse Grande sheets 1c, 2c, 3c and 4c (number refers to how many pockets and c=clear sheet with both sides visible). I have bought those on ebay. The sheets are sold in pack of five. Make sure you buy clear sheets “c” not “s” which are for stamps collection.

i have 4 huge binders of banknote sorted with the country letters from A to Z , looking at your collection made my OCD go crazy. .. just why ?
You know I am pretty organized guy otherwise but when it comes to banknotes for some reason I like to organize more by size of notes than by country or theme. I think It may be coz I am obsessed with old large size banknotes.
BTW, u need to take out your binders dust them off and flaunt it on YT so we can admire it 😊

@@BeLzImUt1 I am slowly recovering from this adddiction. But I will certainly not lie and say I plan to be over it. Now I have become more selective over what I buy and when to spend and may be covid has taught me some real world lessons about saving :)
How to collect those type notes ? From where
You should start by finding a local coin/banknote shop. Other option is to look online at auction places like eBay. Modern or recent notes are easier to collect and usually reasonable prices. Older notes are harder to find in great condition and can be more expensive. Do some research online to see what type of banknote collection you would like for yourself. Mine are mostly old European notes.

You are so right. Now that i have had them they do get million scratches over time. They are european size 8 inches.

Lighthouse brand. This is the Grande version (also comes in smaller Vario version which is more reasonable price). The clear Grande pages are sold separately in different sizes (1c, 2c, 3c, 4c etc based on number of pockets) in a pack of 5.

The Lighthouse brand is one of the best. Also suggest you put your banknote first in a banknote sleeve (vinyl free)-one brand that I like is “supersafe” which has a fold over design and comes in many sizes and also large size for big notes. So first put your rare note into sleeve and then into page/album to keep it safe. Also for a very rare note consider sending it to PMG for them to grade it and put into a holder so that will keep the rare note safe for life. Check PMG website for detail. There are also other currency grading companies you can find online.

You are referring to Serbia note which is a contemporary counterfeit and has been stamped as such over the watermark. I love that note, it is beautiful!
That exact Palestine 1 pound banknote was sold in a Spink auction around 2013 for about £3000 to £3500. It has that exact serial number: X044901. Why would you put it on a page with a cheap common British £1 note worth about £5 ? Seems strange... remarkable how all your banknotes are in MINT condition....

Like the sound of that...wish it was true. Banknotes are my investments and until I sell them I am poor because of my hobby. A lot of people collect coins but I personally think banknotes are a better investment (a little biased). I started in 2018 and have already seen the prices gone crazy for not so rare banknotes. If you follow the auction houses (like Heritage etc) they are having record sales and profit.

100 Polish Marks 1916.
1000 Ukrain karbowańców 1918.
1000 Russian Rubles 1919.

@@4Kollector Being a collector you get the craziest ideas: I have about 240 QEII banknotes and I'm always thinking it would be a good idea to arrange them not by country but by age. From old to young... Or the other way round. 😁
