Hi Shubham, check for ur Fastening Washers, they must have grown old replace them with new rubber washers. Just in case if ur fairing skeleton has changed its geometry then u might have to fix it first. If it doesn’t stop with that also then try this Desi Jugad. ‘In any spare part stores ask for Rubber tikli (this is generally used for auto rickshaws.) fix them in between ur fairing and the skeleton & / or between ur tank and the fairing. Hope this helps u

Have you replaced the stock KBX brake callipers? The first carb version Pulsar 220 KBX brakes were crap. I got them replaced with newer Bybre model. The best thing about owning 220 is that you can upgrade to newer model parts.

Prasad Bane hi, the tank problem u mentioned is with most of pulsar owner since the 220 fuel tank lid has never been effected enough to keep the water out during rains. For that u will have to clean ur tank and apply antitrust liquids. U can find many videos on YT regarding this. Spark plugs, yes. U have to periodically keep cleaning them or changing them. 55k kms is a good number for ur spark plug to last

Hi. Not sure on the fuel pump indicator. But pulsar ka red light fuel ka level 4litre k kum hone k baad jalta hai. That’s the low fuel indicator. Reserve 2.5litre k baad lagta hai

Excellent video. Bro I am going to buy a new bike in amonth or so. I was going to buy a larger bike of 300-400 cc but due to some budget constraints i have to settle within 1.4 -1.5 lakh on road. My primary purpose is long distance touring, including mountains and the only options are fz25, 220 f and ns 200. (I don't like rtr) Presently I am tilting towards 220 f, although it is an old engine and has vibrations, but still. NS is high revving and is made for speed. I only cruise around 90kmph but for long distances.. Do you think this bike will give me 4-5 years of good touring experience? Most people will say fz 25 but I'm going to buy riding gear ( and probably a fatter tyre) by saving the cost as fz is 10k more. I like this more anyway.
Check for oil Gasket if that’s leaking properly. Try changing the engine gaskets. If your silencer throws white smoke than yes u may have to change the head blocks. Check for pistons health before u change it
Nice review, we usually don't see bikes beyond 2 lakh kms on Indian roads. May I know how frequently you changed engine oil, as I read on few articles if you ride in city traffic with lot of gear changes and fast accelerations then even for full synthetic best to change at 4000-5000kms to enhance engine life and not 8-10,000kms which is most them replace for full synthetic oils. What do you think? Also are there any additives which will make engine more smoother. I own a Rtr200 race edition.
Hey buddy. Thanks a lot for that. Well about engine oil. I use to replace it every 3000KM with a normal 15W50 or 20W40. Idly a fully synthetic is suppose to be put in High performance Bikes since the compression ratio is very high. Gear shifting at lower Rpm’s is recommended increases engine life. Additive - you can use Polytron, has good results

thanks for writing, the paint job should be done in approx 5000 to 7000 depending on the quality of paint you use. a detailed major service should cost you another 4000 to 5000 max replacing the important spares from the engine

Hi Girish. Well the 220 is a twin spark technology where as the NS200 comes with a triple spark plug technology and pushes out 4 more HP compared to 220. Mileage of both bikes is almost similar. Now u gotta figure which bikes convinces u in matters of looks and comfort, go ahead and pick that.

Please suggest me a bike under 1.5L. I am not much of a rider, it is going be to my first bike. Also I don't have a lot of experience with bikes although I have rode my friends bikes. I am going to use the vehicle for city use only most probably office commutes and average should also be good.
Hi Harshal thanks for writing. I actually forgot to mention the mileage. It strikes me post editing. Well, my bike gives me around 35 in city and more than 40 on highways. My gear transmission is around 3.5K RPM. If you planning for a commuter bike and have an average height of around 5.5 or above can go for Yamaha FZ or New Apache RTR 160 (I would recommend Apache over FZ) but looks and comfort could be subjective.

Hi Bhavik, yes you can go for a second hand pulsar but make sure u do primary checkups before finalising 1. Unusual sounds from engine 2. Any smoke coming out of exhaust on high rpm 3. Check bar ends mirro ends silencer for dents to get accidental idea 4. Tyre conditions. New pulsars are more linear and so they lack the rawness of the older versions. Can’t comment on the speed of it though.
Bhavik, go for one with less kms run as wear and tear items won't come as expense on you soon, preferably under 60,000 kms if maintained well. Get checked by an experienced mechanic. It's better us you go for 2014-2016 model if you have budget for it.
Bro what about front fairing vibrations do u have ? I too have a 2019 model 220 everything is top class but just a little vibration in front fairing thn i dont have any problem with my 220 .
The thing you said about spark plug cutting off at high speeds is not true, if both the spark plugs shut off the engine will not be able to perform power stroke and if it happens at speeds above 140 people would crash

thanks for writing, the paint job should be done in approx 5000 to 7000 depending on the quality of paint you use. a detailed major service should cost you another 4000 to 5000 max replacing the important spares from the engine

My first bike is pulsar 180 before purchasing it I thought to buy 220 since it's my first bike from 100cc I thought it ll be more power at this beginning stage now I always think to sell it and buy a duke. But when the moment I go and remove that bike cover start it I tell to myself I am not selling this. First bike is love ❤ 😍

Engine rebuild karenge kuch din baad matlam sare engine spares parts purchase karke gharme rakkha hai. Average milega 40kmpl yeh fixed ho gaya hai lekin kaise yeh malum nahi.

Very nice, bhai. I love my golden stickered last launch in 2013. I've suddenly had replacement and, I'm riding it after years. 12000+ is the reading, incredible acceleration, and I think I've mastered braking. Btw, very nice video. Rock on! 😀

Hi Girish. Well the 220 is a twin spark technology where as the NS200 comes with a triple spark plug technology and pushes out 4 more HP compared to 220. Mileage of both bikes is almost similar. Now u gotta figure which bikes convinces u in matters of looks and comfort, go ahead and pick that.

I am planning to buy a bike but these days bikes are overpriced even if you look at 160 cc vehicles.
Please suggest me a bike under 1.5L. I am not much of a rider, it is going be to my first bike. Also I don't have a lot of experience with bikes although I have rode my friends bikes. I am going to use the vehicle for city use only most probably office commutes and average should also be good.
Hi Harshal thanks for writing. I actually forgot to mention the mileage. It strikes me post editing. Well, my bike gives me around 35 in city and more than 40 on highways. My gear transmission is around 3.5K RPM.
If you planning for a commuter bike and have an average height of around 5.5 or above can go for Yamaha FZ or New Apache RTR 160 (I would recommend Apache over FZ) but looks and comfort could be subjective.

You can go for 15W 50 or 20W 50 for the bike. I prefer Motul 15W 50 for my bike.

Hi Bhavik, yes you can go for a second hand pulsar but make sure u do primary checkups before finalising
1. Unusual sounds from engine
2. Any smoke coming out of exhaust on high rpm
3. Check bar ends mirro ends silencer for dents to get accidental idea
4. Tyre conditions.
New pulsars are more linear and so they lack the rawness of the older versions. Can’t comment on the speed of it though.
Bhavik, go for one with less kms run as wear and tear items won't come as expense on you soon, preferably under 60,000 kms if maintained well. Get checked by an experienced mechanic. It's better us you go for 2014-2016 model if you have budget for it.
Bro what about front fairing vibrations do u have ? I too have a 2019 model 220 everything is top class but just a little vibration in front fairing thn i dont have any problem with my 220 .

The thing you said about spark plug cutting off at high speeds is not true, if both the spark plugs shut off the engine will not be able to perform power stroke and if it happens at speeds above 140 people would crash
Dark soul 47 hi, the engine cuts off but the wheels aren’t locked. Ever try putting ur kill switch off while u riding.
