15min for one square?! Respect.
Also this is the most beautiful crochet blanket i habe seen so far!
That yarn is quite big and she's crocheting with a big hook, so it gets done pretty quickly!
Just how ???
Can you tell us how
Pls make video explaining to us hoooow did you made the cute flower
Your new arabic follower 😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You are creative ❤❤
When you use the big fat chunky yarn it works up extremely quickly. I don't think it would be more than 5-8 min per square.
@@louisacapell The bigger yarn doesn’t make it take less time, it just makes the final square larger. It’s still the same process of making a daisy granny square, still the same amount of stitches and rows and color changes. Infact, it might even take a little longer because you’re working with larger yarn and have to use larger wrist and hand motions. If you were to make the same sized blanket in regular granny squares, it would take longer, but that’s due to it needing more squares.
I hope people realize how impressive 15 hours is because WOW!! I have only completed two queen sized blankets so far and each took me two months, working on them at least 1-2 hours each day.
That’s amazing how you’ve completed two Queen sized blankets 😍🙌🏻 They take sooo much time! Yeah, this one works up relatively quickly since it’s bulky level 5 yarn and an 8 mm hook!
It's beautiful. I love the colors. I get tired of putting squares together though.
Thanks so much! I’m glad you like the colors! Yeah you can try breaking up the task so you’re not doing it all at once - it can get tiring. Segmenting it and doing chunks can make it easier and less overwhelming!
Alright putting my big girls pants on trying to start it today wish me luck I’ll update you later! 😂
Doing the first two rounds of the magic circle takes me 15 minutes what the heck?!?! That’s amazing!
Edit : it takes me 3 minutes now……. WHAT THE HECK!!!
I’ve had a lot of experience throughout the years! You get faster and faster the more you do it 👍🏻
@@AllAboutAmiBlogI’ve been making granny squares to turn into coin purses and I’ve slowly been getting faster at making them. Used to take me two hours to make one granny square when I started, now it takes me 30 minutes- an hour depending on complexity
It's so pretty! I absolutely love this blanket, I'm going to be making it soon
Thank you so much for your kind words, Emily! I hope you enjoy crocheting this blanket!
I love doing projects in squares since I can break it up and it doesn’t seem as daunting in the moment (only downside is putting the squares together 🫣)
Just finished my last Daisy square! It’s my very first big crochet project besides a water bottle holder, so I am proud to have all the squares done. I’m glad I weaved in the ends as I went for 33 of them, but I got carried away at the end and now I have to weave in 9 and then start seaming! So close but so far
That’s amazing how you finished your last daisy square 😍🙌🏻 Enjoy putting them all together! Thanks for sharing!
love this blankie, there is something about the colors and flower that makes me happy.
never made squares but will be making it soon.🤗🙌🎉
Aww thanks so much for your encouragement 🥰 Glad you like the colors and daisies 💕 Enjoy making these squares in the future!
I'm following your tutorial to make this cover and I'm absolutely not going at the same pace as you ;)
Awww work at your own pace! I’ve had A LOT of experience crocheting and making granny squares over the years 🌼 Enjoy the process!
Love this blanket design! Will be my next project.
I’m so glad you love it, Nicola! Enjoy crocheting your blanket in the future!
I love it because it's like being in nature, without being in nature 🙃 so very beautiful!
Aww thank you so much! The daisies always bring such a big smile to my face too!
So cool! I saw another crocheted that learned to crochet just so they could make your blanket❤
So Beautiful. I did a blanket like this once, I’ll say it again, once. Never again. Lol! I love your colors.
Omg 😍😍 this is so pretty!!
It inspires me to start the crochet journey!!
I started mine but I’m doing 7x7 rows. I wanted a square blanket. Making one for my daughter and one for each of her two bffs in their fav colors :) it’s a high school graduation gift 🎉
Your square blankets will be beautiful ❤️ That’s so special how you’re making blankets for your daughter and her two bffs - those will be incredibly special graduation gifts 🥰 Thanks for sharing!
I’m using this as my first big crochet project (I’ve don’t plenty of smaller things, though). And it’s definitely taking me over 15 hours hahah! I mean I am doing it as a 9x8 square blanket so it’s a lot bigger but still, you’re so fast! I did the 72 inside yellow parts in about 10 hours and now I’m doing the petals, each one takes me about 10 min. The border parts take me even longer.
That’s wonderful how this is your first big crochet project, Emily! Wow, good for you for aiming for 72 squares! Sounds like you’re well on your way - enjoy crocheting the rest of your blanket!
15 hours is depens how strong my back and eyes to keep sit still :)
I totally broke those 15 hours up over a couple of months! I’ve gotta rest my wrists and hands in between, and as you said - back and eyes too!
Im using the same pattern but mine is 12 sqaures across and 30 down for a total of 360 squares as a birthstone blanket for my grandmother and it is taking me for ever
I am doing this blanket atm which is 10x10 sq (100)
I hate to think the hrs I have spent doing this but loving everything about this design.
I’m so happy to hear that you’re loving this design! Wow, that’s amazing how you’re crocheting so many squares!
Omg soo pretty!!But can you pls tell me what video you used for tutorial?
Thanks so much! You can check out my own video tutorial on my UA-cam channel 🧶🙌🏻
Just made this soo cute just need to weave in the ends!! Thankypu for sharing this pattern ❤
You’re very welcome ❤️ That’s amazing how you just need to weave in the ends!!!
Currently making this for my bestfriends baby. Loving how it's coming along!
That would take me months! I get excited to start but then other projects come along and i get excited about them instead 😅
I totally get excited about other projects and work on them at the same time too 😆 So many projects, such little time 🙈
@@AllAboutAmiBlog I've not crocheted in a couple of years now due to so many lost loved ones. This blanket makes me want to go to the local yarn shop (I'm in Scotland) 🥰
Fell in love with this blanket ❤❤ lookin amazing
I wish I could crochet this too.😢
Aww I’m so glad you like my blanket ❤️ Some beginners have learned to crochet by following my video to make their own daisy blanket 🌼 They slowed down the tutorial video to 0.5x or 0.25x!
Can you please tell me how long the blanket is?
The dimensions of the blanket are: Width: 45”/114 cm, Height: 52”/132 cm
SIÉNTETE ORGULLOSA DE ESE TRABAJO. ES PRECIOSA, DE LO MEJORCITO QUE HE VISTO.
If i made this, it would take me abt 3 weeks ngl😂 I’m a beginner so I work very slow haha
I totally spread this 15 hours out over several months! I’m very careful about taking breaks so I don’t overwork my hands and wrists. I was also working on two other blankets at the same time haha! Don’t worry, enjoy the process and take as much time as you need!
What was that thing you used after you finished your blanket? Also, THIS IS SO CUTE!!!
Thanks for your kind words! That was a steamer that I used to steam block my granny squares! It gives a beautiful finishing touch as it smoothes out the stitches and relaxes the fibers.
Takes me two hours to finish one 🥲 this blanket looking soooo cute though!!
It takes a while to get used to the stitches! Once you’re more familiar with them and have memorized the pattern, it’ll get faster 👍🏻
I’m currently making a crop top, and every row takes 10 minutes for me to complete, there’s going to be 70-100 rows so it’ll take me around 700-1000 minutes, which is around 15 hours.
IT TAKES ME AS LONG TO MAKE ONE CROP TOP AS FOR YOU TO MAKE A HUGE BLANKET- 😭
Edit: I’m done with it, but as I learnt the stitches, in the end each row only took me 4 minutes to complete (:
That’s awesome how you got so much faster at completing each row once you memorized the stitches! Yeah, different projects take varying amounts of time depending on the complexity, thickness of the yarn, size of the hook, etc. I love working with bulky yarn since projects work up so quickly!
@@AllAboutAmiBlog I’d love to work with big yarns as well, especially those soft, cuddly ones but they’re so much more expensiveee 🥲
I was making a bag over 15 hours!
And this is so beautiful!
Thank you so much for your kind words! That's wonderful how you were making a bag- they can take a lot of time too!
Please do a tutorial on how to whip stitch granny squares for the crochet bag. 🙏
You can check out the separate UA-cam video tutorials for the bags to see how to whip stitch the squares together 👍🏻
I love this blanket! I have a question, would this be beginner friendly? I want to make this blanket for my grandma who taught me how to crochet. I wanna give it too her for christmas
That is so special & meaningful how you want to make this blanket as a Christmas present for your Grandma! Very neat how she taught you how to crochet 💖 I classified this pattern as a level 2 easy (beginner +) design, so some previous crochet experience would be great. However, some people have been successful in making this blanket as their first ever crochet pattern!
@@AllAboutAmiBlog thank you so much! I’m so excited to try your beautiful blanket♥️
@@AllAboutAmiBlog I have one last question, do you think yellow for the petals and brown for the middle to resemble sunflowers would look good? I’m thinking about doing a green base for the blanket. Thank you ♥️
I've always wanted to crochet but I didn't know how. Seeing this video just made me want to crochet even more. 😭
That’s wonderful how you’ve always wanted to learn! You can totally do it 🙌🏻 Some complete beginners have told me that they successfully made this blanket!
This is beautiful! You have some serious skills ❤ the only things I have made are beanies and scarfs. I love to crochet and a girl I used to work with was going to teach me then she moved and got me a detailed book. Sometimes I go on you tube to learn. This is gorgeous
Thank you sooo much for your kind words 💖 That’s wonderful how you’ve made beanies and scarves 😊 You can learn a lot of new techniques through UA-cam 👍🏻
Wow 🤩 this is soo cute 🥰 I wanna add this to my blanket collection.
My great niece ❤ hers! Made extra squares for her babydoll.
I’m so happy to hear that! So sweet how her baby doll gets some squares too 🥰
That’s so beautiful, it makes me want to learn how to crochet!
@@AllAboutAmiBlog do you have any tips for beginners, either off the top of your head or in a video on your channel? I’d really appreciate it! 🥰
Made it!! So unique, lovely and girly. Planning on giving it to my daughter for her wedding since she is moving to a cold place 🎁🎀
Oh wow what a special gift ❤️ Thank you for letting me know, and thank you for your kind words 🥰
@@AllAboutAmiBlog thank YOU for taking the time to explain and display your art to inspire us. This is more than a project video, this even helped us to be excited about something and spark joy to overcome a depression and create a piece that may transcend us for generations.💙🌹☺
Can you please upload a long video (like a tutorial) showing how to knit the squares with flowers..❤
You can check out my “Cozy Days Daisy Blanket” video tutorial to see how I crochet the daisy granny square 🌼
good job! looks so good i wish i had enought yarn to crochet that many squares
It’s so beautiful!
I love granny square projects but hate all the weaving in of ends 😩
Thank you so much 💖 I love granny square projects too 🥰 I try to crochet over them and then weave them in the opposite direction as I’m going so it’s not as overwhelming in the end!
Золотые ручки,какая прелесть!!! ❤👍🤗💐
really puts into perspective why artisans charge what they do: it's a lot of time and effort!
This came out spectacular 😍 that beautiful grey green color is just lovely 🌼
Thank you sooo much for your kind words! I love that shade as well 💖
This looks awesome i cant wait to try and crochet it you really made it look amazing and got me to actually start it !
Thank you so much for your encouragement and support 💖 Enjoy crocheting this project!
Do yu hv a beginner friendly tutorial plz? Love it

Yayyy so glad you found this video too 😍 You can find the video tutorial on my UA-cam channel if you want to follow along 💖
Wow❤ i love it it took my friend more than a week to crochet one granny square 😂
It definitely takes some practice! Once the pattern is memorized, it goes a lot faster!
Wow u are a fast crocheter
I’ve had a lot of experience crocheting granny squares throughout the years ❤️
Daaaaaaang! 15 hours?
Even with chunky I couldn't with a design like that.
One stitch or simple repeats with chunky yarn I can blow thru them but not with tuck ins and sew togethers.
I bow to your awesome crochet skills.💜
** your hand steamer. What kind is it?
it is cute as a button and looks much easier than what I have.
Awww thank you sooo much! I bought the hand steamer on Amazon - I love using it to steam block my pieces! The brand is “Beautural”!
I am very interested in ur blanket! Tut pls?! ❤
I’m so glad you’re interested 🩷 You can find the video tutorial on my UA-cam channel 🧶
i made that blanket and it took me 1 hour per square but i did add 2 more border rows around the squares
my red flag is that i would try to have that finished in 2 days 😭😭i love it !!
Thanks so much! I’m glad you like it!
Ur not alone 😭
Qué precioso trabajo! Cuánto tardaste en terminarlo?
