- Here's a VRC6 8-bit cover of The Sky Bridge from Shantae Half Genie Hero!
Created in Famitracker. Having played this game, I can say it's pretty good. The visuals and soundtrack (especially the soundtrack!) are what really left a strong impression though. Feel free to use in your own videos, so long as you credit me.

NO WAY.
You're healing the human condition with every video.
OoooooOOOOOOOOH! And a cute little pixel Shantae-bat in the right up corner!
I've actually never played this game but wow this is dope.
I never realized just how genius your use of the noise channel was until just now.
Woah.
This is absolutely excellent. Could easily be mistaken for an official track of the original game
One of the best songs in the game, now even more awesome
You have blessed this land
This sounds a lot like the original game! (The one for the GBC)
This is a good one! Hey wanna try the Tassel Tower remains. It actually fits your 8 bit style! ♥
Tassel town has got to be one of the most difficult levels I’ve played in a very long time. It certainly left a stain in my view of platformers. This...level...is...intense. Hard to kill enemies, tricky platforming, and those stupid bomb birds, this level is certainly a challenge. And it was so satisfying to complete it. I’ve played Mario and Rayman. They were my only platformers until I learned about Shantae. I always saw platformers as super easy games made for young kids. I was dead wrong. And this 8 bit cover makes me imagine what people would have thought if the level of it was in the original Shantae.
If you still think platformers couldn't get any harder, try I Wanna Be The Guy, it's basically hell. It's a pc game, and it's fairly popular, but almost no one talks about it anymore
There's also a plethora of fan-games about it, and they're MUCH harder than the original game.
Try the first few Mega Man games
The birds deal an entire 4 damage when they hit you with a bomb
I raged so hard on that part
Love it!!
Great job on this. I can't really compare to the original that well since it's my fave song in the series but this really does sound great
it sounds like the gbc shantae good job
Sounds good!
This is amazing! Well done :)
Amazing!
This one is one of my favorites (:
Hm, almost sounds like Shovel Knight music! Can't say why.
Both games have the same composer, Jake Kaufman, so it would make sense for the music to sound similar, especially in this 8 bit rendition.
I get that they have the same composer, I just can't really articulate the similarity.
@@UnarmedCivilian_ I'm a bit late so maybe you discovered this bit too, but Shovel Knight's soundtrack was created with 2a03 + VRC6 too, so that could help explain it.
Too Good!
Nice job!
Nice
oddly enough, this reminds me of jsab music, it’s just got this certain type of vibe to it

While this has a very nice beat it lacks the energy and fast pace that the original had. Still, nice job.
Also, I know I'm more than a year and a half late
After 3 years, Risky is still the only dislike!

What if Shantae was made for GBC
