Thanks! I’ve really been enjoying your game. The models for the next adventure have been pulled and are currently waiting for their turn on the painting table. Keep up the good work, on your games and your channel.
I had to come over and comment. Just love these videos. Relaxing to watch, especially with your grrat painting and soothing old school vibe. Please keep em coming! Are there many of such solo dungeon crawler games? Sounds super interesting.
Thanks, that’s very nice to hear. And yes, actually, there are quite a few solo RPG style miniature games. Off the top of my head, there’s Forbidden Psalm and its related games, Five Leagues from the Borderlands and its variations, Warlord Ascendant, County Road Z, Rangers of Shadow Deep, Hametsu, Majestic 13, The Doomed… As I was writing this I kept remembering more. Of that list I’ve only played Rangers, but several of them I do hope to get to some day. And then of course there are the board games like Gloomhaven, Warhammer Quest, Descent, Zombicide: Black Plague, etc.
So a qq, while fighting the first manifestation of the boss rat, Raskin moved through a diagonal adjacent square to get to one where he can attack…does that not open him up to a free attack from the boss rat?
I didn’t notice this until after I posted the video and was rewatching it. So what I think I’m going to do is rule that it works the way I initially thought: The attack only happens if you are leaving an adjacent space to move into a space that is not adjacent. Otherwise you get situations like that, where neither combatant can actually strike each other, but somehow moving into position to attack provokes an opportunity attack. As a solo game, it was easy to convince my opponent of this interpretation.
@@dmgashbad4908 lol, your opponent is a good sport. I have this thing where I can't make anything easy for myself...I'll see if I can't somehow trick my opponent into thinking your interpretation was his idea.
Sadly a lot of the adventures on the FB group are in French. Did you find English translations for them? I am particularly interested in the Minotaur adventure
I found English versions for a lot of them. No Minotaur, but I downloaded The Red Widow, Stolen Songs, The Cult of the Sea, The Cursed Daughter, The Dark Mother, Night if the Dead and Bloodsucker.
I´m saving this for the painting tomorrow.. Painting my BB team of Black orcs. So need nice background.. ;) Gotta love the stuff you painted, the tables..
I am really liking this alternate interpretation of "Escape from New York."
Watch out, King Donald Pleasence. We’re coming for you!
Raskin is the Man! I really enjoyed watching this.

This is a realy neat series i hope it continues
Thanks. I just printed out a big stack of adventures, so as long as I can get the painting done I can keep going.

Just discovered this channel and damn these are good! I would love to see more videos like this. I want to see Raskin rebuild his company!
Hmm. I did just buy the Forces of Fantasy book for Warhammer: The Old World. Maybe Raskin should start assembling an Empire army…

Thanks. And rats are nice. I used to have a pet rat that would lie on my leg while I painted.
