As a "conservative", I must say that the quote at 9:57 "the difference of debating to dominate, and debating to discover" is very meaningful. Although I do not like debates, but would much rather have calm discussions, with the purpose to discover truth and then to implement that truth in our lives.

Regardless of where on stands, this approach is the best! The purpose to discover truth should be foundational. Appreciate your comment and you tuning in!

To grow spiritually and not stagnate we need to question and study I find it challenging

Yes. And one such tradition, an UNBIBLICAL one, is the official PRO CHOICE stance on abortion.
    Yet nobody talks about it.

That's a whole other discussion we may just have at some point. Thanks for bringing it up!

Today‘s sda church (I mean the one that have its gc in tacoma park) makes itself detestable because of its traditions. You cant become a sda, you must be born it. When newcomer arrives he has either to submit in frustration or quit. One huge tradition is our administrative church meeting where ALL kind of speaking out is duly forbidden from the root. This is a proof of laodicean proudness and lukewarmness: i have it all, i dont need to change. No group of humans can grow without reflecting about itself. And women pastors and eldest are a rebellion against God and a shame to angels. Remember: since so long ago, Jesus IS NOT in our church, he is outside and strikes at the door. The church is LOST and doesnt contribute to godly evangelism.

Pionners were a movement, they were renouncing their inherited traditions, step by step. Adventism DIED with end of Philadelphia.

Appreciate your comments! There's a lot here that we resonate with. The only exception is we are 100% supportive of women pastors and elders and we want to see more!

@@MarcosTorres29 you have to come to YOUR OWN conclusions by study and prayer, since you will be judged by this, not by what the church says. I am supportive to women's ministries, according to what God revealed they should minister. Paul revealed God's will in Timothy and Titus: an elder MUST be a man, monogynist thus married etc. And his reasons are godly, NOT cultural; there is clearly NO ROOM for a woman in THIS ministry.

I don't see a theology where God blocks all the people that gave their life to him out of heaven just because a women ministered to them lol.
"A women preached to you and ministered to you? Ah man, nah, you can't come into heaven" 💀
