Good points in your video. I've been making perfume oils for years now. Here are a few things that I've learned: 1. Make sure you are using good quality/pure essential oils. 2. Leave a little head space in the bottle so you can shake and mix the oils. 3. I use only metal roller tips. 4. I primarily use unrefined organic coconut oil or Jojoba oil. 5. I label each bottle using my trusty P-Touch labeler. I also keep a notebook and jot down the ingredients and date. I often go back and write notes about the scent. I often change the formula based on my notes. 6. I "marinate" or let it sit for at least 2 weeks, and shake maybe 4x a week. 7. I don't have a scale. I simply look up recipes online and use this as a basis. I will often modify the recipe. Essential oils are therapeutic, too so I will use oils based on my needs. 8. Scents change so wait until 2 weeks before you modify the original recipe. 9. Scent is not as strong after a few hours so you can reapply if you need to. Hope these help.
Thank you so much for sharing all the amazing information and for your beautiful energy and personality. I have just discovered you and I have subscribed.
Thank you for your video.. I'm about to embark on the oil based roll on perfume journey and was very curious about the possibility of using MCT oil. I want quality yet cost effective!
Thank you for the video, Dave! That's a really neat idea for the night time routine for kids, I want to make one for my niece! Also, what kind of scales do you use? They look like they're good quality.
