The best video resolution I have ever seen.... It's nice to see when u guys were entering into the clouds with a big nd nice bird .like a Star bytheway ... Thanxx for uploading
That is an amazingly clean wing haha, I love the feeling of flying on a new aircraft. I flew on Air France's F-HPJD just 12 days after delivery. Welcome back to the UK btw :)
Good video and loved the tour of Heathrow. Many videos stop after landing which I will never understand. One of the best parts is the taxi, thank you. Maybe some inside pics, I want to see the Skycouch, sounds interesting. cheers
Such a great landing skill and I must say u took a very good skill film. I will waiting for ur video with different airlines especially cockpit view. Good luck
Its time when you feel the engines work different and start the descending ,is really very nice .Flaps down ,everybody inside the plane are very quite its something exciting waiting the time actually you going to step in land.
Awesome video! glad you enjoyed NZ's newest tripler! my friend is an FA on them :) poor wee bubs, usually babies cough medicine helps - just a little :)
Nice to see someone not complaining about the Baby! I'm the same as you, I don't get mad one bit. Course could be a little agging but they can't help it..
It has to do with the airline's customer code. This code identifies the airline when it comes to ordering planes. NZ's code is -19, so that's why you see 777-319ER instead of the base aircraft model number: 777-300ER.
Yo me halle el video entero espectacular, porque el video tiene buena calidad, el avion se ve fantastico y tiene un sonido extremadamente perfecto!!! Este video para mi, lo tiene todo!!! Saludos desde Republica Dominicana!!!
@scanmannz No it was a full flap landing (30). Cloud was minimum 500ft. Not sure on the total thickness. Probably around 1,500ft-500ft. Full flaps on the 777 normally comes on Final Approach along with the gear.
Because I'm from London and moved out here to the states back last August. I've had two trips back so far. The Frankfurt trip was in the second trip home for a day of spotting :-) Plus I'll find any reason to fly ha!
@howardflight09 No the First Officer Landed it from around 1,000ft, pretty easy for them just follow the Flight Director. The Cloud in the video looks lower as we got Condensation all over the wing so the Pilots had much more Visual than we did on Finals.
It was actually just ILS CAT1 limits believe it or not. We were out of the clouds a lot earlier than it seems - the massive condensation trail coming off the wings makes it seem a lot later. FO hand flew her in (-:
@HeathrowSpottingHD yeah, I don't think the 77L was on ANZ's roadmap, but the 787-9 delays have meant ANZ have had to keep hold of their venerable 767's that toil away mostly on the pacific routes, longer than they expected. I guess Boeing needed to offer something in return for the delays.
Not down that high. Standard speed control at LHR is generally 220knts in holds and approach, 180knts base, 160knts till 4 DME once fully established on the ILS. Our VREF as around 144 so we needed the flaps a little earlier due gross weight. 777 normally lands quite fast. Cloud was OVC005 & BR conditions so Flap 30 was taken around 700-1,000ft.
@Kassowar65 Well to be honest, this plane at the time was it's second day in service so the seats weren't broken in. Same thing if you get a new sofa it's a little hard at times. I wouldn't lay down but if 2 of you I'd get the extra seat as you have more room to stretch etc! On the way back seats were good as plane was a Year old. Love ANZ!
@rachaelmatt Yeah we were fairly lower than normally. I'm always normally FL370 going West to East. Only been FL400 that was on the way to LA for the first time in a couple of years! We were a heavy load as well so had to be at the most efficient altitudes calculated by the FMC. We only filed for FL310!
@xSystemzZ I'm use to it if i'm honest. They only normally cry during Take-off, Climb, Decent and Landing. Simply because there heads feel like they're exploding and they have no clue what's going on! Completely understandable in my eyes.
@bewareofcabbage Yeah now with the 330 Minute ETOPS Rule the 77W will be fine for now. Not sure if they have any more on order? I love the 763 with Winglets in the ANZ livery!
Looks like it's foggy in London. Wow! you really covered the entire flight. Didn't you get tired of filming? Anyway, it a was nice video to watch. Felt like I was flying too!
The flight Origin's from New Zealand to London via LAX. I don't get why people have a hard time understanding a simple stop over. Just like the way everyone flies to SYD via BKK, SIN etc from LHR.
Clouds were OVC at 500ft. That wasn't one hundred percent cloud on the final approach, it was condensation coming off the wing. If you'd been sat forward or behind it wouldn't have been as evident. The first officer landed this manually. This approach was an ILS CAT II.
I don't know why but ever since the A380 started flying, the B777 became my favorite boeing, I think I just liked the 747 for its size, the B77W has the most impressive engines, it's almost as big as the 744 and seems more efficient. I'm not form New Zealand but I'm happy NZ took the B77W and I hope the paint a Hobbit scheme to advertise the film :)
I like to give as much detail as I can. Lots hate it, simply because they're too lazy to fast forward. Both ways we never set up the sky couch per say, just used the extra seat for more room and leg rests. I think it's only good if you're flying with your partner or on your own. Otherwise you're not really going to snuggle up with your parents or brothers/sisters ha! Thanks!
@ArmandoHerFlo Not necessarily, the route you would take along with the different jetway I would probably only take 18/20 hours depending on winds etc. When you fly EGLL-WSSS you would fly a total different route than trying to go EGLL-NZAA. I believe you would fly high routing. In the case way high over Russia, then drop down to Tokyo then vis versa!
@rachaelmatt Thank you! Yep a nice Altitude! Passed a lot of traffic over the US FL330, shame it was dark! I could see quite a bit though as the moon light was fairly bright. We were Mach 8.4 FL310, FL330 8.3 FL350 8.3 but slowed to 8.1/2 over the Atlantic.
Oh my bad I checked the charts afterwards I'm familiar with gatwick mainly- we tend to hold at mayfield ( timba 3D) and sometimes will and Astra to the south :-)
1:53 beautiful shot
Great video on a great airline. Used to do this entire trip at least twice a year.No wonder they win so many awards.
The best video resolution I have ever seen.... It's nice to see when u guys were entering into the clouds with a big nd nice bird .like a Star bytheway ... Thanxx for uploading

With my headset on , it almost feels like I'm in the plane , amazing
Im normally an Airbus fan but i gotta say: this is an awesome aircraft in all ways !
amazing video, and in this video we can see how stable the 777 is. Waiting more inflight videos from you HeathrowSpotting.
I have to agree... I did this flight last year and it was the best i've ever done! Love AirNZ and their new birds :)
nice videos! I might be flying Air New Zealand from Los Angeles to London and back in the summer, and your videos just got me really excited :D
Thank you heathrow Spotting for the effort you put in making these.
Your vids are so good, man! I really enjoyed both parts of this flight. Kudos!
nice second part luke, the cloud looked crazy on the way down dusting off the wing!
wow that wing doesnt seem to carry any dirt at all.. Beautiful!
Just like how Anchorage is a major stop in between flights. just did some spotting there earlier. Magnificent birds!
Outstanding! this is amazing! thanks for uploading this i must say you have such a great camera!
Amazing vidéo .great quality. We can see the aircraft is brand new coz of the brightnes of the wing...good french for the flight attendantt...
Love that CAT II landing. Awesome Video
What a smooth wing...WOW!
Good video and loved the tour of Heathrow. Many videos stop after landing which I will
never understand. One of the best parts is the taxi, thank you. Maybe some inside pics, I want to see the Skycouch, sounds interesting. cheers
Going through the clouds was amazing,
Such a great landing skill and I must say u took a very good skill film. I will waiting for ur video with different airlines especially cockpit view. Good luck
Lovely video. Boy wish we could see more of that sun in the UK...
Its time when you feel the engines work different and start the descending ,is really very nice .Flaps down ,everybody inside the plane are very quite its something exciting waiting the time actually you going to step in land.
I would love to see the captains POV as they fly into the fog, must be a wierd/funny sight.. great vid!
Awesome video! glad you enjoyed NZ's newest tripler! my friend is an FA on them :) poor wee bubs, usually babies cough medicine helps - just a little :)
Ohh i just love your comebacks
beautiful landing and the wing is spotless :)
The cruise at 0:48 is just has a beautiful sound
fantastic vid cloud cover all the way down until like the last moment
Amazing, Love the 777's, hope to see some LHR videos soon, I see G-STBD Is in the UK!
Nice to see someone not complaining about the Baby! I'm the same as you, I don't get mad one bit. Course could be a little agging but they can't help it..
Cool, thanks for your answer.
One of your best videos yet..

look how shiney and new the wing is
exelent video bro i think this is the best video from youtube congrats from mexico =)
@HeathrowSpottingHD Just bloody Awsome mate!
Watched both now, great videos!
good to see they're playing NZ music after landing :)
I just love the B777.
So awesome! My most favorite bird
Yo me halle el video entero espectacular, porque el video tiene buena calidad, el avion se ve fantastico y tiene un sonido extremadamente perfecto!!! Este video para mi, lo tiene todo!!!

CAT II, I believe. Standard landings at LHR are CAT I, however in these conditions CAT II was used. The F/O landed this one manually.
nice video..look at the flaps, still white and clean =)
That's a great video to watch so I added it to my favourites. *****
Nice brand new airplane
London gatwick :-) going there tomorrow to meet the airfield manager and may actually go on the airfield so I'm really excited :D
great video again
That's a pretty smooth flight dammm!
Because I'm from London and moved out here to the states back last August. I've had two trips back so far. The Frankfurt trip was in the second trip home for a day of spotting :-) Plus I'll find any reason to fly ha!
superdooper vid, I want to try Air New Zealand!
Thanks! Tired of filming? Never! I wanted to share as much as possible. Everything you see are my favourite parts of the Flight.
that was a very nice landing
waiting for your next video :)
Lambourne is the departure route we take to Ireland :-) right turn out of 25L cross acorn and over LAM VOR at 6,000 or above
the wings are very very clean
The flight probably came from Auckland first and made a stopover in LA. If space left, you can book LAX-Heathrow with ANZ Too ;)
good landing
BEAUTIFULL!!!
@howardflight09 No the First Officer Landed it from around 1,000ft, pretty easy for them just follow the Flight Director. The Cloud in the video looks lower as we got Condensation all over the wing so the Pilots had much more Visual than we did on Finals.
Awesome video !! Thunderstorm
Fully agree with you on that! :D
Was it again this week? Wonderful!
Amaziing Landing !!
Welcome back to the Grey Old England!
It was actually just ILS CAT1 limits believe it or not. We were out of the clouds a lot earlier than it seems - the massive condensation trail coming off the wings makes it seem a lot later. FO hand flew her in (-:
Wow awesome video mate
Nice man! 777 is the best!
@minitrundle Me too! Yes she's been flying almost a Month actually! Will try and catch her and add her to the collection!
@ArmandoHerFlo Also I'm talking about the 77L which has a range of 9,395 Miles.
i love this plane very clean :)))
Poor baby her ears we're hurting after long flight. Video good.
really enjoyed your videos thank you, you did a great job lol

@howardflight09 it also depends on company policy too like EVA air say you should always use auto land regardless
the attendant (at 16:00) spoke four languages...this company is very professional
They have London based cabin crew - literally all they fly is this route!
Love ANZ!
@AlexSupraBieber Thanks! Yeah was cool, some vortex's as well!
Brilliant

@Honza8778 Thanks. This is the end of its Journey. It will return to AUK via LAX as ANZ1 which I'll be taking in a couple of weeks!
@No1ForFlightSimVids Thank you!
@bewareofcabbage Yeah now with the 330 Minute ETOPS Rule the 77W will be fine for now. Not sure if they have any more on order? I love the 763 with Winglets in the ANZ livery!

@HeathrowSpottingHD sweet, thanks! Hope you ll make some awesome video of your journey to LA ;)
Thanks! Yep, Gear Down & Flaps 20.
Wow those are low clouds!
