Gonna take tonight and really sit down and listen to Yeti proper and parts of Tanz Der Limeage. This one is shorter and puncher which is definitely not bad. Still not exactly a Pop sensation but different from there more usual approach which I like. Reminds me of CAN here in some ways.

I think if you understand the cultural history of this type of music it's easy to see how they could have come up with something like this through improv. Most Krautrock Bands grew up listening to Traditional Music,Art Music, and Classical and got intrested in and introduced to Psychedelia through Black Artists from The United States especially Sly and The Family Stone and probably Funkadelic and to a lesser extent Anglo American Rock Bands especially Velvet Underground and Grateful Dead. Sly and The Family Stone went on to have some Cosmic Style Songs aswell and the basic music theory ideas behind Krautrock ended up crossing into both RnB and Soul Stations in America as well as into British Progressive Rock. Pink Floyd is likely the main british influence before Prog seriously caught on though.

Fire killed some people and destroyed their some of their most expensive recording equipment after this album came out, they were working on Tanz Der Lemminge at that time.

I wonder why they split up yeti and yeti talks to yogi, sounds like the same jam session. If it was combined with yeti it couldn’t fit on a vinyl side? I know of songs that are 30 minutes and fit on a side though. Well no matter what it doesn’t make much of a difference. Sandoz in the rain makes sense though very cool song

Yeti was the 3rd side on Vinyl.
Yeti talks to Yogi ( with Sandoz in the rain) the 4th

@@dimitrispapadimitriou5622 I know I was just wondering why they were split up, as I’ve seen 30 minute songs on a vinyl side before. They are a little bit different from each other though so I think I get it now.

@@sgstudios9122 These two tracks were probably excerpts from the same recording session. Perhaps the whole improvisation was longer than 25 minutes.
They wanted another track to complement the fourth side, along with Sandoz in the Rain though...
