    I had a burnt out light. Took me about 20 minutes saved me a ton of $$. Thank You, good sir.

    It says these won’t fit my car? I would think any 9005 hb3 would fit my Kona 2022 SEL could you give me a follow up on how they worked

      They are still currently working great. And as far as them not working for your car? I’m not sure why, since the I provided came straight from Hyundai themselves. But perhaps you have something different. The best way is to pull your bulbs out and see which ones you have. That way you’ll be able to verify what can and will work for you. Thank you for the question, and your time watching as well.! 😉

    How did you know it is upside down?...I have tried about 10 sets of bulbs including LED and I get a weird side light on high

      Just the way I plugged it in I suppose

    Is it just the one 9005 bulb for both low beam and high beam? My 2022 Kona seems to only have one 9005 bulb with 2 wires and 1 filament. I can't figure out it is doing both low beam and high beam.

    • @LowStar55
      @LowStar55  4 місяці тому

      Yes just the one

      So, I'll reply to my own comment. I've now figured out that there is a mechanical shutter that flips to switch between low beam and high beam. So, there is indeed just the one single-filament bulb.

    I looked up that light, and it says it will not fit my 2023 Kona, but if it fits yours it should definitely fit mines ?

      What year is yours again? I think 22 and 23 are different because of the refresh

      I think it’s the camera amplifying the sound. Standing next to it, you don’t hear it. But, it is a Hyundai after all. Lol Thank goodness for that 100k warranty 😎

      My girlfriend’s car also ticks. Taken it to dealers multiple times and they seemed to not care. One dealer even said “it’s a turbo motor. They make noise”. So obviously that wasn’t productive. The best guess I have diagnosed is that the injectors are the problem. Just loud I guess. Easy job if they go out (they are loud so you’ll know when they do lol). Warranty should cover it though
