- In this video you can see how to cut a silicone mould for resincasting. The advantage of this methode is that there will be nearly no mouldlines on the casted object. The siliconemould will fit seamless together... #beesputty #stefaniehuesculptor # sculpture

Will you make a video of the casting and final results? Some people use a U shaped key knife and would like to see how this differs. Thanks
It’s so satisfying
Using the surgical tool is a brilliant move, I might have to invest! 👌🏾💜
I'm so glad I found this tutorial. What do you call those tools? I can't find those hooked blades anywhere.
They are called "Wundspreizer" in german. Google translate them to "retractors".
@@studioworx Much appreciated
I use that method for my Model car builds and it works just fine.... see you in the web
Why does that person move the scalpal side to side when they cut the silicone.
Thats the cuts and Keys to this technique. This way you get a topologie that fits perfect together.
@@studioworx oh ok thanks
Stefan, i would like some info. 1st of all the clay is super easy to use and add any kind of details i want (i have the normal one not the firm one) !
But i have a problem with baking, i baked a cloak/cape piece ( 6cm x 10ish cm and almost 0,3 cm thickness) at the suggested
temperature and time (115 C in 30 min) but it broke with a slight force. If i bake it around one hour and at 130 celcius will it strengthen it ?
Today I found this question. You should bake it at a higher temperature. Maybe you have some very old BeeS, that says 115 degrees celsius. All newer ons since 2015 have the SFX formula that allowes you to bake them up to 140 degrees celsius.
what is the tool you are using for keeping the silicon die open? This is pretty good.
It’s a Weitlaner. Surgical instrument used to spread tissues.
