The trouble with fashion bloggers reviewing fashion week is their understanding of design is so limited and their adjectives usually one dimensional. eg beautiful, gorgeous, colourful....well the average person can give that sort of description. Perhaps you could use fashion designers who are far more knowledgeable in the future.
Victoria actually has a fashion related degree and is a past university lecturer in that field. This video might not have showcased her normally amazing descriptions (this was a very brief insight into a very busy week)! I implore you to watch some of her own videos and see the difference
hmm I get what you are saying even though I love her channel, I think what the other comment was getting at, it would be great to get people who actually work in the field, i.e. literally dress people for a living, work with designers e.t.c.. Whilst youtubers simply buy products and dress up for use even though some are fashionable this is not different for the average person in the street
Agreed, her choice of adjectives isn't as diverse as I'd thought a fashion blogger's would be. And especially not at the standard of a university lecturer.
she was a university lecturer and has a phD in something along the lines of fashion marketing etc. etc. and i get where youre coming from but the point of this video is to give a more accessible and approachable view into the craze of fashion week
Just seen this - thankyou for the support lovely! It's pretty difficult trying to get on with a busy day at fashion week and then having to quickly give a snippet to camera before rushing off again. Im sorry I didn't get my dictionary out haha! :) xx
