- Testing out a camera that was sent to me to review. It is a smart camera of sorts that enables remote viewing and control of the laser from an app.

Thanks for the info on this camera. I just ordered the Mintion Beagle V2 for my Creality CR-6 SE printer. Should be here on Wednesday.
It looks like a nice accessory
Thank you for this review.
Your very welcome
I've been really really wanting this camera, but they say it doesn't work with the Devil1 Lobotomy kit I added to my xtool d1...i bet it could, but i dont have mula to test it out😂. Thanks for this awesome review!
It has some cool features.
Thanks for showing, do like the remote viewing option.
BTW, perhaps the Mintion beagle would be something for your 3D printer?
That part is nice.. The remote control scares me if you are too far away. It is a cool toy though.
You can use the camera with a raspberry pie on your 3d printer I have a camera on my 3d printer and works well with low latency
Yea, I am looking at getting a sonic pad for it
David, your phone should be able to do screen recording. Its a great functionality to then edit afterwards and inlay into your video. Hope you get it working for future use.
It will but my PC hates the format and it’s a headache to edit.
@@TheClackShack OK, all good.
But, when I come back the next day, everything is moved and the output is not in registration with the camera.
I think I missed part of the comment,,
@@TheClackShack No, the point is that the camera doesn’t stay in position due to the flimsy mount. I’ve tried three of them and I’m still looking for a better solution.
@@Redthumb45 Yea, the mount lacks rigidity. I use these for alot of cameras. You can mount a piece of wood in a DIY enclosure and clamp to it. These are RIGID and $12. amzn.to/3LoM9Rv
When using camera in LB and then using remote monitoring does the Stop Button work from Phone ? bit pointless if you have a fire and it doesn't.
It has to have the machine plugged into the camera to operate it. I haven't figured it out if you can. Think of the app as an offline controller, that is basically what it is but with internet connectivity.
Probably be more useful to monitor 3d carving on the cnc that can run for hours
of all the lasers you have, and don't, will any of them etch or print on marble or tile? if so, which and how well?
Most of them will do tile, I have tried marble
on diode, c02, or fiber? i don't have any yet, i still exploring my material options.@@TheClackShack
Xtool D1 pro can't connect to lightburn via wifi.
Will this solve that problem.
I mean can I use this camera system to send a job from lightburn to my xtool D1 via wifi
It doesn’t allow a connection from lightburn. You can control the D1 with the XTool app which is similar to what this does.
If you are not gonna use it then send it to me :-)
I bet..
