Watching this makes me miss the park even more as it’s the park I grew up going to then they got read of all my childhood rides then after that I stopped going I only went back when they spent the 40k on sky force as I loved that one alot I now go on one at the fairs you sit outside not inside it’s like the same type of ride.
Thanks for sharing this. It is just so very sad to see. I visited as a kid in the 70's and have been bringing my kids for the last 15 years. Some very happy memories and a very special little place. (Though not so little when seen from the air.)
When i was a kid, it was not a theme park but museum. They would have cars and aeroplanes helicopters and various other things outside . As well as the blitz and other exhibits indoors.
Great video. This update is very helpful. I bet as we reach spring more of the rides will start to leave? Still very sad especially with the Village left with no life. Still hope they can save it? I might make a history video about Flambards but it's a thought?
Well it's not all sad I just found out today that an Airsoft events company going to be having a weekend Airsoft event here in April. This is going to be an epic place to play Airsoft I have dreamt of playing in places like this

@@darylgrenney5048 thankyou so much for the feedback. Like I said in the video this will most likely be my last drone update as I don't want to get in trouble 😔
Strictly speaking not the only theme park with camel creek still open but it is a very sad day for Cornwall indeed . Thanks for the comments just made me sad all over again 😭
The last time I went to Flambards was in August 2019 and had been going every year since 2016 ( and many times before that ). But in 2020 I didn't go because of covid restrictions but even after restrictions were lifted hearing about an accident on one of the rides also put me off.
I am sure that some parks will be interested in purchasing some of the rides for this years season, parks like Oakwood, Pleasurewood Hills, Lightwater Valley, Margate and some of the smaller seaside parks would be glad of cheap second hand rides or travelling showmen.
It hasn't been decided yet but I believe that a nearly housing development will take it over at some point. I am also not sure how much longer Ferdis Indoor Play will be around. The main concern is for the Victorian village and blitz to be saved in some form. Thanks for the comment we really appreciate it.
@cornwallfamilylife no problems and I am with you about The Victorian Village and The Blitz as well and I have some good memories about Flambards in Helston Cornwall
Thunderdome was on a loan deal to Flambards and has now gone back to its owner shame about the hornet there is a sister coaster at parc astarix as mentioned I don’t see it being relocated though unfortunately and that goes for sky force as well it’s one of the only few HUSS frisbee rides left in the uk but again it was moved from a park to Flambards it was at a different theme park that ended up closing where sky force was themed to a pendulum in a clock the ride back then was called pendulous this is also the reason the are numbers on the underside of the ride if you look closely you can see them sky raker could most likely be relocated there is a go fund me to save bits out of the village as well
Wow thank for taking the time to comment your much more knowledgeable about the rides than myself. I really want to go to parc asterix now just to see the sister coaster which is Roman themed I believe
@@cornwallfamilylife yes that is correct I use a website called coasterpedia and you can search up rides and it will tell you where it came from where it is now who it’s made by ect

@themeparkawesome3401 Definitely make a history video I'd watch and so would my Flambards obsessed son. Thanks for the positive comments
So what's happening with the Victorian village? That was the highlight of this place.
Nothing has been announced officially yet. Helston council has been in conversation with Flambards about saving it but that's all we know

That will make a nice little housing estate.
@@MattF340 I reckon they should name the roads. Ferdi lane and hornet close...
I know they need to take the fences down but knowing that people break in it just makes the rides easier to break on if someone does break in
