My hair is looser than yours but detangling with ANY kind of shampoo, even the most moisturising, is a no-no for me. Tightness =/= harder to detangle. Wonderful review though, and that hairstyle at the end is EVERYTHING. I will be awaiting part 3!!
I have 3c/4a hair, and I do the same thing. I detangle as much as I can with my shampoo. If my shampoo is not that great, I'll half ass it and then it at least makes the detangling with my conditioner easier. Plus, it keeps my hair brush cleaner and free of residue in between actual washes for my brushes.

@Lashamalaya, get it. I used it today, long type 4 hair, and I was surprised. 1 pump and the moisture I couldn't shut up to my husband. And when you wet the hair again, it's like it creates 'more shampoo'
