@johnxluluwickedwild there is not over loaded this movie is a origin story while in Superman 2025 its not a origin story even other heroes in the superman 2025 movie will not have origin stories in it
I don't think there's any other superhero movie in which the character got his power infront of his family, Also Iron man suit was inspired by blue beetle
James Gunn said that this movie will be connected to the DCU but Super Man will be the first movie made by the DCU. I'm actually really excited for this movie. I think it will be a great introduction to this new universe. As far as I'm aware Aquaman 2 is apart of the old universe. I'm afraid that it will confuse some people being Aquaman comes out after. I just hope if Aquaman is bad it doesn't affect peoples view on the new universe. I have a feeling Aquaman is going to suck because I heard during test screenings there were a lot of walk outs. Hopefully this new universe can do justice for DC.
@gammerdude3937 unless you did not see the flash there is no old universe ( it seems Aquaman 2 will be in else worlds ) in mean it is separated from the main universe
@michaelkaggwa4915 I think Aquaman 2 could take place before the flash movie. Since the order they come out in doesn't equate to its order in the timeline. I believe Gunns universe is a whole new world and has no connection to the universe/timeline at the end if the flash (A reason for proof of this is there is going to be a new batman for gunns not Clooney plus all the new recasting, characters, and simply making it easier for casual fans to understand) So yes it will be a new universe in the multiverse just like how we have the batman and joker universe's. Even if they want, Aquaman could easily take place after the flash if gunns universe is a new separate universe because I doubt they would have it be a sequal if there just going to make it an else words story. Since the flash bombed in theaters, Ezra Miller, Amber Heard, etc. Those are all reasons to completely move to a new universe and start this new one fresh. They have no need to tie those movies in at least not yet. We can only hope that with the multiverse, maybe one day we will see the return of some of those versions of characters like Henry Cavil and Ben Affleck, just like no way home, dp3, multiverse of madness, and hopefully secret wars. But just like the mcu did, dc needs to build there way up to it and do it right so that it will be really enjoyable.

I tend to agree. Even if I do like good superhero movies ..I also think they should slow down. Make us miss some good superhero movies instead of constantly having them (like 3,4,5 movies from both DC / Marvel in a year (and even more with the Tv shows that Marvel had recently). If they pump them out so often (and not all of them being good or great enough) ..that fatigue will start to show up (for the movie goers).
Agree. The Flash is a good movie yet suffers from poor CGI and Ezra's behavior problems. I thought the CGI was average at best, and the story, plot--especially the character conflict--and acting were pretty good. Didn't like the George Clooney cameo though.
Yeah I thought the Flash was great though. That movie had so much action the entire movie. Also yeah I'm gonna guess the Blue Beetle release date is to get people to get up and go to the theaters in the summer months an cash in on an already loaded calendar of movies. Rather than waiting until next year or the end of the year.
Shazam 2 was a flop because of adding woke culture in it. Flash was a flop for horrible CGI and ezra Miller's behavior and attitude problem. You may not agree but hurting human sentiment is a sensitive issue
@khanasif169 ok, so what. There's homosexual characters in many TV shows and movies. Kinda reflects the world we live in. Why should there not be? And how did having said character affect the film when not one commercial or trailer mentioned whether any character was gay or not? It failed because it just wasn't a great movie, and it hardly mattered since The DCEU is going away anyway. That's why it tanked.
