Until I watched this video, I could yelp, cut, and cluck with the best of them using a mouth call, but I could never get a purr to sound good, so I have always used a slate to purr. This video singlehandedly taught me how to purr. It literally took me 10 minutes on the drive home form work to figure it out. This video is perfectly done.

Troy is legendary. I learned how to call from watching this series over and over again and practicing everyday while driving around in my work truck. I was able to bag my first turkey last year with my new primos Jake and hen decoys and hook hunter ghost Reed. I was fortunate to shoot a 23 lb Tom within the first hour and a half of turkey season! Turkey season in southern Ontario is coming up so I've been watching Troy again and practicing like crazy! Thank you Troy and primos for turning a huge deer hunter into a turkey fanatic!

Just wanted to thank y’all for the information! I have been using a diaphragm call for about 4 years now, and could never figure out how to purr with it. Thank to this simple video I finally am able to purr because of this video! It also helps that I use your diaphragm calls to begin with! Thanks again for the helpful video! Keep up the good work!

There is a raised bump on the bottom side of the call right in the middle of the metal horseshoe frame! Hope that helps!
