This documentary is about 2007 Britney Spears and her breakdown. People were incredibly jealous of her and displayed a behavior called Schadenfreude, which in German combines Schaden, which means “damage,” and Freude, which means “joy.” This documentary is an analysis of how fame and psychology go hand in hand about revealing dark truths about society through the lens of fame.

People we admire need our prayers when they go through rough times that we would not know how to handle if we were in their shoes.
My question is , are they “ jealous?” Or are they taking what she has sold. Meaning there’s nothing she hasn’t put on camera. So then people think they can say and do whatever they want to her. No matter how disgusting. She is part of their lives, their growing up.
I think it could be a mixture of both with how much attention she use to get in her prime years and she was literally untouchable back then. But she also sexualized herself along with the vultures that surrounded her all those years ago. Yes everyone sexualized her back in the day but what did SHE or anyone expect when she personally chose to dress like a sexy Catholic school girl then goes on national TV talking about her virginity knowing damn well it was all false just to become a big star. What she did worked but there was a price to pay at the end when her lie backfired after her and JT ended it and he called her out for pretending to be something then she wasn't. Even Xtina mentioned back in the day that she personally didn't like how Britney would portray this 'fake act' pretending to be so innocent and virginal in interviews then turns around and does an almost nude photoshoot right afterwards. It just made no sense. She would have been much better off if she was honest upfront about her sexuality like Xtina. Britneys career ended bc she portrayed herself as an underage fantasy object and that doesn't work once your in your 30's and up. She's in her 40's now wns doesn't know what to do with herself anymore besides desperately try and recapture her youth bc that's all she knows is to entertain and take her clothes off but thats all she knows. She's been through a lot, can't deny that but I wish Britney would grow up and seek real help under her control and start taking accountability she's seriously choosing her illness and validation on social media over being with her own sons. I personally don't think they were ever really that close, she lost full custody for a reason.
That footage of her at the tattoo shop is cruel,what the people are saying is so mean how they laugh at her.

Proves it? We don’t need Britney to prove that. It’s obvious that people are jealous of the rich and famous as they have been since forever. Why wouldn’t you be?

I feel like all the negative attention celebrities get is a consequence of celebrity.. theyre out there acting superior, rolling around in excessive amounts of money no one needs, cutting their faces and bodies up to suit what others want to see, they basically do all the things regular people see as freakish and amoral.. so when the villagers throw rotton fruit at the one on the stake, its to be expected .. you won't be afforded those types of luxuries without some form of punishment.. vanity and envy , gluttony are sins for a reason. Everyone has to learn
