This isn't hate comment, but few are wrong and wasn't mentionedor eas forgotten, from 1969-1990 because of federalisation of Czechoslovak socialist republic, we had our own 'state' and goverment as Slovak socialist republic we had basically current Russian flag or current flag of Slovakia without the coat of arms on the flag, and we had our own coat of arms, and from 1990-1992 we had the same flag as before but with the fall of comunism the coat of arms changed to the current one but still wasn't on the flag itself which was added only when we became independet and Czehoslovakia split (or was dissolved it doesn't matter) there may also be more mistakes but theese are the ones I noticed

You forgot Nitrian Duchy flag from 920-1108 and Matuš Čák’s Domain had its own flag Also in 1849 Slovakia had all of modern Slovakia and more as an autonomous territory also ww2 map is wrong

If we would say Juraj Janosik was a hungarian hero and his name was actually Jánosfi György just because he fought against the Habsburg dynasty with Rákóczi Ferenc you would be upset too.
@@Nagyabrios i never said Čák vas a Slovak but his state was predominantly Slovak and used Slovak symbols had Slovak nobles exc.
The symbol that he used is also a Hungarian, that’s why he used it. His people and his noblemen were both Hungarian and Slovak. The reason why many slovak want to prove that it was a Slovak state is because they want to think that Hungarians and Slovaks were always enemies but it isn’t true, we are brothers in Christ and we fought together in many wars against the enemies of us.
@@Nagyabrios that isn’t the reason we want to “prove” something it just is a part of Slovak history and that symbol dates back to great Moravian times also yes we did fight together side by side but that was ended by magyarization after 1849 and now any History we share with you is apparently not ours even tho our people were a part of it

It's extremely disputed on where it existed and when, also samo was germanian and well... it lasted for like 30 years.
Samo's Empire was not a Slovak Union 💀
It was a SLAVIC Union created for protection of the Slavs. So yes, it probably should've been here. Principality of Nitra also WASN'T created after Samo's Empire fell but it was created in 825-830.

And dont yall Czechs count Great Moravia as slavic union most closest to Czechia/Moravia we do the same with samo empire because it was created in our territory and Nitrians were majority in it and many other reasons if you want to know

Blu triangle was added in 1920 to make it different from Polish flag. But when you visit some medieval celebrations in Bohemia, you will still see Bohemian flag, which looks pretty much the same as today Polish flag, they just use more orange shape of red.
The flag of 1939-45 is wrong. Slovakia have just 3 stripes. White-blue-red. The black croos on white coat of arm wasn't there. That flag was just for army not the state itself.

The coat of arms belonged to Slovakia as much as they did to hungary, it was our identity too.
The coat of arms is almost the same as the Hungarian one because we wanted to show that we want to have indenpendence

Moravia and Nitra was not Slovakian, just Slavic, and those were not states. Slovakians didnt even exist yet. The Slovak uprising didnt happen. (25k Slovakians fought for Hungary and 1-200 against it.) Hungary existed in the Habsburg monarchy, the two were not the same. (1526-1686 was also different from 1686-1848.) Maybe Im mistaken, Im Hungarian, but as a Slovak historian said who was fired, in 90% of the cases Hungarians are right and Slovakians lie.

Great Moravia is MORAVIAN history and to a lesser extent Czech but it was never Slovak. Their fault they lost to us.
