Peter does seem like the kind of lover that would bathe you in rose petals and paint your toes. What a legend. Yes, Peter, you are good enough. We miss you.
Metronomy
I so agree with you...he will be missed but he will always be with us through his music and in our 💚's keep rocking 💚🖤🤘
Oh fuck yeh
Big Tycho the fuck.
Good enough? Too good ...
Discovering this band is like finding your long lost love that you thought you’d never find.
Exactly!
Best description of the emotions felt ever 👌💫 Yes, chills up and down the body and a heaviness in the heart, a deep sadness thay Peter is nonlonger us... Fucking incredible musical experience!
@ hill sxx perfect description! I really wish Peter could have known/believed so many felt this way😔
I only wish I got to discover them earlier. Didn't start listening to them until after Peter died. Type O is one band I'd kill to have been able to see live.
@Natalie R. We're you lucky enough to see them live? Unfortunately I wasn't aware of them until about a year ago, I have no idea how that happened cause I listen to all kinds of music all the time!
Figures I wouldn't find my long lost love til it was too late haha
the part where he sings "am I good enough... for you" just strikes the most tender part of my soul man
True that. In real life, Peter felt he wasn't good enough. I can totally relate to him.
💚💔💚
@@NanceeMarin how do you know that
@@iccyygravee From what I've read and heard about him so far.
@@NanceeMarinthat's something I can't seem to comprehend. How did he feel that way? He was beautiful, kind & talented : A full package. How did he not see that? In anyway, it's probably a shame he didn't, but if he was self-aware we wouldn't have the songs we have today. We wouldn't have the interviews we have today. The band would be MUCH different. So, I don't know.
The world is a colder, darker place without Peter Steele. Rest in peace big man - we’ll never stop missing you….
Can't believe he's been gone so long 😢. Still love the music and that amazing man!
I so agree! Wish he were still here 💚💚💚
He's in a much better place than we are now
The world was always a dark and cold place. Pete spoke it true. I just hope he is suffering less wherever he is at.
In “our” next world 🖤
Who's Listening In 2024?? 🖤🖤

Sofia Violet There is a similar story of Chuck Shuldiner from Death. He died so young, was very talented, handsome man and great guitarist/vocalist. Very very sad story. Some great promising metal artists died too early. Let they rest in peace at the side of our Black Master. Ave \m/ Best regards for You Black Heart. 🖤
Sofia Violet yeah 👍
Not only that. I'm certain I will still be listening to this in 2040 ;)

Peter is the true sex symbol of the gothic culture, the way he sings soothes and heals scars, his poems sound like roses that surround the fine line between heaven and hell.
I'm so happy to see so many still discovering TON's music in recent times. This was the song that truly made me love these guys when it was released so many years ago now. Autumn will never be the same for me without a chance to see them live ever again. So bittersweet.
I saw them in 97 in the sfx hall in dublin. Was never a massive fan but listening now cos i saw a teenager in my job wearing a black no 1 t shirt earlier.
My first time was about 95 or 96 haven't stopped listening yet

I’m kinda excited that the New Gen kids are sick of the rubbish that’s been inflicted upon us as ‘music’ for too long and are searching for the real deal…and finding it!
Dear death, if you give us back Peter Steele, we will give you every kardashian, beiber, and your pick of politicians.
Sincerely, every metalhead, ever.
I’d put half Of America up for Peter back tbh
I give Jair Bolsonaro.
Thats a crap deal..death would not give up peter steele for those twats
Throw in the Hadids too as a bonus

I just discovered this band yesterday. It's like the sound I have been looking for forever.

Welcome to the Type O Negative family!

Three months earlier than me mate, just listened this evening and I gotta say these folks gave us an awesome time. Sad to see that Steele isn't with us anymore, the fact that his name can still be found though, I hope it gives some happiness to folks around him that his music still brings joy to new fans.
Check out Sonsombre too. Goth as it gets.
50 years old. Still get emotional when I think of how much of an impact this band’s music have had on me over the years. RIP Green Man. Not forgotten.

Mid-break bridge to the outro is so removed from the first two verses, but the song would go from a 10 to a 5 if it was removed. 23 years ago. damn. I wasn't even 30. where does the time.go
@@quentindugger5389 Thriller isn't even that good of an album. Very very overrated.
This is the kind of song someone from OUR era would definitely expect to be on The Crow soundtrack... Some music, if it's great enough, transcends time..
that one part of the song that makes you wanna float...
Most romantic song ever.
add me fred
That´s right!!
I wouldn't go even close to being that far I'll go think of tons of them way better just being honest
I agree
Indeed it is! 💚
The most beautiful gothic love anthem
I'm definitely glad I was privileged enough to watch to witness to hear this band fr. "Brooklyn NY" play live.... over 13 times.
The most beautiful song I’ve ever heard. You never left Peter.
What makes this song so magical to me is how he begins like an uber-confident sexual beast ready to take on his conquest.. then midway there's this eeirily beautiful guitar solo. then he does a 180 and catches you completely off gaurd with "am I good enough.. for you?" it crushes you the same way life crushes you. Totally bares his weak side.. incredibly brilliant. Can't believe it took me till 2022 to find this song. So glad I did.
Welcome to the dark side. :)
Welcome to the world of Type O.
this song's lyric-Your hips move and i can feel what they're saying
pink floyd's comfortably numb lyric-Your lips move and i can't hear what your saying
cool bro.

*your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying.
He also uses the lyric "your lips move but i can here what your sayin, prayin". Then he uses a reverse lyric from pink floyds mother at the end in the same tone, am i good enough, for you.
Am I good enough for you?? Am I for you?? That questions hit hard
Still think this is one of the most romantic love songs i have ever heard.
Peter left us way too early.
perfect album to listen to during october and november. never gets old.
