Beautiful 125, (Shame Greta & Co killed the 2 Stroke) Nice Review, I just wish Dealers actually had them in stock to view. Seriously, Why would anyone vote this video down?? the guy gives excellent free information.
Guess everyones preference and feel for a bike will be different, I'm certainly not disappointed. I'm 6ft and is perfect, smaller riders would be fine too.
Haha, I was only talking the other day, many years ago drove to jersey (yes ferry crossing) with my parents 4 up with luggage in a mini 🤣 good old days!!
Great review love the bike it's been over 40 years since I had one and considering getting one possibility of just a one like yours depends what price they are. Quite like the royal Enfield 350 though
Ordered a 2022 model (red) back in August. This bike will be delivered March or April next year. For an old man, the Honda seems to be a little boring compared to the Svartpilen. After having had five Honda cars, I hope to get the same reliability and hope to enjoy the built quality of this bike for years to come.
1 st thing I did on my 2018 model was get rid of that scooter exhaust and put a Leovince evo 1 on it much better so please honda give it a little more stylish exhaust that fits the neo cafe race look on the next models
Ughhhh, I need it lol. Trying to decide between this and the 2021 KTM Duke. What's the top speed/acceleration like on it? Love the looks of the KTM, but honda reliability has be on the fence
Hi Also have a 2021 with 800 miles. Agree with most of what you said. Handles very well, great sound, great torque for a 125. Can even pull away in 3rd. I do have a couple of negatives though. I find the gears tricky to get into and out of neutral quite often. I also have a Zontes G1 Scrambler and find the gears far superior. Rear suspension could also be better. That said, on balance a really good bike. Regards
Hi Zontes by far. Feels so much more substantial due to 20 L tanks and longer wheelbase. Honda is a very good bike so both great for those looking at 125s
@@denisg4288 thanks for getting back to me mate. I prefer the look of the zontes but was worried about reliability. The zonte here is 3500 and the cb125r is 4400 but I was thinking the Honda will hold its price better after 3 years. Hard to know what to do 😆 lol
@@stevo987 I think the Zontes is probably the best of the Chinese bikes and build quality is almost on a par with the Japanese ones. Have a look at the review Mark Pulling did on it. Honda will probably hold the price better but if you ACF50 and maintain neither should have issues. My dilemma is if I pass my DAS, do I go for the Street Twin or Moto Guzzi V7 Stone🤔
Cheers David, yes agree tyres fine for good road condition but good do with soemthing a little more tread on the country lanes although not had any major issues. Hope you get the idling sorted 👍
…idling valve seems to have fixed problem….still takes a couple of minutes from start to warm up 🤨 1300 miles done now and the bt09 are run in and great in wet and dry
Hi Jacob, can;t really comment as not had the opportunity to ride the lxr - certainly wouldn't mind a test ride on it though if Lexmoto are listening :) .. I would say they are 2 different styles of bike though.
I think you might struggle. I would be surprised if you could flat foot it. I am 1.75m and wouldn’t want anything higher. Best to try to not only sit on one but move it around while sitting to see if you can balance it.
The '21 model has an upgraded engine which is euro 5 compliant and delivers a bit more power and also the change in the front forks to the 41mm Showa Upside Down system. Hope that helps...
Technically I believe it should be upright on the front forks, it came out of the main dealers like that and I think you would be hard pushed to be challenged on it - but belt and braces put one clipped to one of the front forks!!
Yeah it’s legally supposed to be mounted sticking out on the side of the fork. I wrapped mine around the upper fork leg. Never had an issue and was allowed to redo my CBT like that by/with an ex police rider.
Got mine last Thursday what a great bike great ride

👍 yes I decided to buy on the 2019 model reviews but as we were in lockdown didn't test ride one.
Lovely bike. I'm getting back into riding after a 25 year break and considering one of these. Subbed!
Guess everyones preference and feel for a bike will be different, I'm certainly not disappointed. I'm 6ft and is perfect, smaller riders would be fine too.
25 year break? Was you in coma bro?
Great review sir! Getting mine next week. Enjoy it and ride safe.
Thanks Victor - hope you enjoy and safe riding too 👍
U like the bike?
so what was it good
Great review, I'm about to order this bike, your review has helped me decide 😀
Enjoy when you get it, I'm sure you'll not be disappointed 👍
The sound at 6:34 is actually quite accurate, you might even get slightly more bass in real life.
I once took a suitcase to Majorca for 2 weeks that was smaller than that tank bag.

I'm now in the process of selecting my bike between this one and Husqvarna Svartpilen 125.
Difficult choice...

We need this in America
Will be my new bike 😍
Nice single cylinder engine Sound
Aw man you are so lucky. I wish i could ride a motorcycle.

I'm thinking of getting one as a cheap commuter
Lovely bike, looking to do my cbt in early spring, can I ask how old you are ?
That screen is looking a bit old and dated when compared to full colour tft on the 125 duke. If Honda upgrade that then it would be great.
I'm gonna make myself one of these one day.
nice review I really like it and I want this can you help me how to get this?

Hi Denis, which bike do you prefer? I'm undecided, zontes or cb125r?

I've heard if goes into gear a but easier if you let out the clutch to spin up the box before pulling it back in and rotating the shifter.
Great review mate . What's the running in period , if any
Cheers Tony, 600 miles to first service which was £90 at main dealer.
Good informative video. Really interested in getting this for my first ever bike. However, I am 6ft 4 do you think I'd be out of place on it?
I'm 6'1" and it was perfect... best go and have a sit in one. Best of luck and safe riding 👍
out of curiosity what is the insurance roughly
Good review , enjoy your ride.
Thanks! 👍
Which one is better cb125r or cb150r
..snap 👍🏻…mines been back to Honda several times for an idling problem 🤬…also changed the tyres to bt09 as the stock tyres are awful

Is yours a 21 model mate? Mines been great so far!
Yes 21 model only 3 months old…Honda have now changed idling valve hopefully it has fixed the problem

Got one on order but failed my CBT
What did you fail on ?
@@jamesroberts9921 I was nervous and I think I missed an observation or 2 Instructor told me she has an element of doubt and failed me.
How is it even possible to fail a CBT lmao
Mileage?
Do you think that bike is fittable for a guy who is 1,64 m?

Try a grom

Is having L plate on front mud guard like that legal?
