Great product! I was able to extract property management company info from Zillow's list of active properties for rent buy doing a deep scan! What a time and life saver. Since I don't have any developer experience, I had to watch this video like 4 times and finally it worked. thank you!
I noticed the tutorial that provides the facility to do deep scrape if we can get the links using the table scrape as first step and then do page scrape using the links from first step.
I want to know what to do if we can't get a link and the new page opens as a popup in the fist page.
Hey there great video. I have a question. I tried to scrape followers from a specific instagram user. The extension extracted 49 list, but each list had the same users in the list. Not sure where i went wrong. I used infinite scroll. Is there something that i missed? TIA

I can't for the life of me figure out how to set up the deep scraper and data enrichments. I am so confused by this update. I have wasted a week trying to figure it out but it has been frustrating. Would have been better to just manually input data. 😤😤😤😤😤😤
Thanks so much for the update, but if I may suggest, it would have been better to update the video with the new updates implemented in Bardeen so that people will not be confused, cause not everybody would think of going to the comments to find out if there are updates, thanks
When scraping a list or table, is it possible to select the items rather than scraping all of them?
This guide must be outdated. I followed it step by step. The interface looks different and in the end I am unable to deep scrape. The scraper is totally disregarding step #2 in the automation.

Great stuff. But for now we et only the scraping content tools you showed I'd be interested in scrpping details as page title, favicon and logo links, address from footer, etc
You can do all of those things. Use “advanced actions” for that at the top right area of the screen.
I've tried the exact "deep scrape" on an Amazon Best Sellers page, and it didn't work. No results returned. Disappointing.

I've been trying to set up a scraper template for a single page that has click pagination, but whenever I click save template, that popup at 4:18 that says 'Do you want to extract more list items' doesn't come up. I've tried using a different website that has a list type page, and it works there, but that doesn't exactly solve the problem. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks!

I was trying to scrape a website in which I need to extract store details from store directory, which has multilevel navigation. So, I was using deep scraper as you have shown, but Scrape Data On One or More URLs option is not showing in my playbook, any suggestions.

great video. I'm trying to scrape UA-camrs' business emails from a search result on Playboard. Would Bardeen be able to do that?
Captcha might be tricky.
You can try using the "click" actions, but I couldn't make it work on the first try.
Does Bardeen support "add data to a particular column"?
I'm using 2 playbooks with 2 scrapers.
1. Scrape UA-camr's profile name + link -> add a new row to Google Sheet
I then used =CONCAT to add "/about" to the link column so I can access UA-camr's profile page with ease
2. Scrape email from a UA-camr's profile page (/about) -> add a new row to Google Sheet
Have to pass the captcha manually.
The problem is that the 2nd action creates a duplicate row with those in the 1st one.
If we have such action as "add data to a particular column", then it can potentially get rid of the duplicates.
The tricky part is the captcha. Unfortunately, Bardeen won't be able to solve it.
And yes, there is a new command in the latest release that can "update" a Google Sheet row.
At 06:01 why did it scrape only 21 records? Why didn't it get all the records as you told it to do with the Next pagination button at 04:48 ?
Because at 5:00 we set the number of items to extract to 20. 😉
But without that limit, Bardeen will try to scrape as many results as possible.

I have not been able to do it in a massive way, but manually and it takes time,
the technique is to search with some script or something like that, I don't know anything about programming, look for websites that don't have the whatsapp button and offer them the code to create a future relationship for local seo work.

what a crap, the 'add table or data rows to google sheet' doesnt exist for me. And yes I added it and I see a few option of what I can do with it, but not that. Only Rows and text to google sheet.

The video is super helpful and I understand the basic concept. However, I'm stuck at 6:48 with "Scrape Data On One or More URLs" is no longer an option. Of the choices now available, what would be the best selection for deep scraping?

Will this work on local files?
For example if i have a collection of songs that all have the word "iTunes" in the comments section of the file details, can I automate a task that will automatically remove that from all the files within that music folder that is stored on an external hard drive?

How to scrape multiple lists? I have a website with a list of products group by categories, how can I scrape all the products and optionally add category as new column
You can scrape multiple lists.
For that, you can use a "conditionals" and feed Bardeen different scraper actions based on what category a product would belong to.

Hi guys. As a customer, I highly suggest you make an updated video based on how Bardeen UI has changed. There are definitely a decent amount of UI changes, options, text, button placements, etc. as of speak (April 28th, 2023).

hey - this video is a bit outdated compared to the new update of the extension. Also, If the webpage does not have a list structure within the source code, the extension will struggle to operate. Just an FYI

Also, the remark on "list structure within the source code" is not exactly accurate. In HTML, a list structure can be represented using the , , and tags. And Bardeen doesn't need to have list items tagged at all.
Instead we use an algorithm that finds repeating CSS selectors.
