This video shows an updated Mara 1 pull guide to maximize the gold power hour and powerlevel XP that you can farm! With this run we were able to get 100+ gold per hour just from the run itself, not including if you're selling runs. This run also is an amazing powerleveling strategy as it yields 25-30k xp/run and so 100k+ xp/hour since you can do about 4 runs an hour! This run is more risky than the other maraudon 1 pull strategy, but what I try to do is show as many tips and tricks as I can so that you can get through it cleanly!

Also try magic dust in the hydra when you walk by from the wind elementals in westfall, I dont know if they would be immune to it but it's basically a 30 second sleep, it may cause it to reset

I've had to do that a few times. It's by far the best way to fix a fuck up on the kill phase. if you're on the wrong side of the mobs, the bottom side, definitely go for that ledge. even when they're low health, it works well enough to get the job done, and the guys you're boosting get their moneys worth.

Great video! Going to try this in the weekend boosting alts :) What addon are you using to display the history of spell casts?
First off, amazing video. I have done many pulls with this strat, but I do have a question. Sometimes when doing the pull, when I jump down after the roundabout and run to the totem, the hydra's still reset. They mobs are super grouped while walking over the root, and the hydra's are still present. However, when they mobs are coming out from underneath the arch, the hydra's are gone. I don't blink, nor do I use any other form of speed increase. I always do the same pull, and it seems this randomly happens. Any thoughts as to why this may be happening would be greatly appreciated :)

Is this a bug but sometimes i'm unable to cast blizzard through. I have both shields up and a small nature protection, the cast still get's set back. Around every 5 run's that happen's to me.

at 8:05, there's a spot that you can blizzard on the staircase the mobs are running down where they get hit on BOTH sets of stairs; HUGE opportunity to get them even more clumped up early-on, and gives you a little extra running time
I find that can sometimes defeat the purpose for we want to aim to slow the mobs that are too far in the front. And if you use that strategy u can slow half the mobs, putting them back in the original unclumped position.

don't just walk a straight line but make a wide turn
the mobs in the back of the group will catch up since they will take a shorter path than the mobs right behind u

riding the struggle bus hard on this one lol. Feel like I'm letting the dinos silence me too much and the part where you enter the water, I've had all the mobs reset a few times even though I don't go far from them so still working on it. Appreciate the videos!

Awesome video! I've been doing a similar run but find that the hydras can sometimes still hit me when i jump to the correct platform. You mentioned blinking in the hallway can reset them - do you know if the reset blink should be in the turn or the straightaway?
I believe the turn works the best!

Great Video, time to move from SM Cath to mara, been a huge success, was worried first about path but was very easy to find, for starters, dont freak out to pull every mob like Arla, start with just make it to the pillar and u still have tons of mobs with you, and by time u will pull sides and extras iam sure, i can agree it is easier then SM Cath boss pull. all u need is to run and its pretty easy, its just the killing phase that can be hard, but have 50+ nature resist and u are good to go.
What addon is showing your list of spells that you are casting?
Do you know why some mobs take sharp left in the last phase while most of them go straight, then back, and then turn left? Doesnt matter how stacked I get them prior to the kill phase, they always spread there and cheese blizzards only because of this.

Great video. Thank you for posting. I am trying to use this video to boost friends. Can you make a video showing us where to have the people we are boosting go? Like if we all use the staff to enter Mara, where do they go and stand to get all the experience and be safe? Also how do they get from that spot to loot mobs once its done? Also I’m not even really familiar with Mara where do you use staff to port into Mara (scepter?)?

Learned the easier pull thanks to you Arlaeus :D However I can't seem to make the hard totem jump on my UD female. I make it super easy when playing on an orc but on my UD female its just impossible. Is it possible that the model is bugged?

Hello, is there a posibility that humans have problem jumping from the farther tree stump at the killing spot? Ive been doing regular maraudon pulls without a problem jumping on the tree, but im having real trouble jumping back from this second stump as a human, i have to be positioned at the very edge of that stump to actually jump back and it is really hard to set this up when you have to act fast as the mobs would come out of blizzard slow. You seem to have no problem or setup jumping back, you just turn and jump. Thanks for advice

I do have one question tho, any tips and tricks on memorizing all the pathing/routes ? Or is it just practice..practice..practice ?
I would personally recommend running the routes without mobs first, trying to memorize it without the pressure of dying. However after that it's mostly muscle memory

You said you are still going for the dagger at Princess Theradras, are you respeccing fire for that or doing it with that build too?
Respecced to deep fire, yup! You can also do it as prom!
Arlaeus done 190 runs as deep frost and not having to respecc before raids, kills take about 3 min
@@krepstah Killing princess as deep frost? But it relies only on scorch and fireblast for the most part.

Are there any videos from a low level characters perspective. Seeing the experience bar move could be incentive for people to buy runs.
Personally, I don't like the idea of paying for the game, and then paying someone else in game, but could be convinced if i saw that video of a player buying a run at 45-48.
Arlaeus I have an issue with this farm. The hydra continues to walk up even when im on the further part of the pillar. Any clues why this happens?
Easy fix if he hasn’t told you, you are not jumping down onto the second pillar far enough/early enough
If the grouping is good enough for them to be grouped on the edge/regroup them re loop
@@shabbytub7378 so if the hydras go beyond a certain point they will try to hit me from up there? I thought of that as well but I saw people resetting the pull and the hydras literally walked past them and ran to hit them from under when he was standing on the pillar.

Safety as well. They're just a couple mobs, not much xp, and not a huge drop bonus, but MUCH more risk
Looking forward to trying this tonight when kids are in bed. But I know my biggest challenge wont be the end kill phase. It will be not getting lost! Watched your video 7 times back to back just to try and learn the path but I know I'll still mess up.
How many times did you try this just to get the path mastered?
Run it without pulling mobs many times. If you have another screen you can follow along and pause/rewind if u fall behind or get lost.

Unfortunately some slimes and borers will always reset and there’s no way to prevent it
Happens to me all the time with slimes and borers with a standard pull. When I pull from “Rotgrip” I usually get 250 to 280. My record is 309. But was a super deadly pull cause I did a lap all the way to princess.
Arent there more mobs when u start the pull at the bottom (croc)?
Yes there will be more mobs, but many of those mobs from my understanding are non-elites and also add extra length to your run which may result in less efficiency with xp. I personally do not have a ton of practice with that pull, but will be looking into it!

Hi Mate - I really want to ask and am hoping you can help - What is minimum gear required? What mana pool and HP you need to do all these farms? Your video is great to explain how to do them, but we dont know what mana you need and what HP you need, and this is for all your farm vids, not just this.
Hi man you don'tn eed any special gear for any of these farms! I've been doing these since I was in pure blues and greens and just dinged 60. I'm going to be making a series where I do all of these farms without any gear on as well just to show that :). The important thing is getting the runs down!

Practice it without any mobs! Once you get it down without mobs you’ll be set :)

could be that some of those mobs were assisted by other players. outside of that not sure why.

Why do you get spell hit if it's just a pure Mara build? You're hit capped by default against mobs in Mara at level 60.
Im killing that one hydra in the hallway that always pulls as its too much of a pain to deal with, but then i'm having troubles at the transition at minute 6. What happens is that the mobs stop, and the rock elementals reset and only those lizards and worms continue chasing me. Any ideas?
actually i just started pulling the hydra with the rest of the mobs, just learned how to deal with it
At the water? you have to blink on the way to the other side. Once you get far enough they'll start coming.
How did you make rank one and max rank spells in the same action spots?

Arlaeus, you should consider using the addon "ActionMirroringFrame" for your UA-cam videos. It shows an icon which mirrors every ability you use, but keeps it in one spot. It would help viewers to see exactly what abilities you're using without having to look down at your bars. Thought you might like this!

Why you need frost talent to hit mobs? like 6% chance to hit means nothing when they are lower lvl then you. Like lvl 60 mage will have 99% chance to hit vs 52 mob

Herbalism and engineering. Herb for the various herbs in DME and Mara. Engineering because it helps a ton with a ton of farms.

why is my character swimming the segment at 4:05? you seem to be able to run through the water without swimming. cant i do this pull as a gnome or something?
use a firewater or savory deviate delight. gnomes will swim so you need to get bigger
Gnomes swim, but you can use the strategy mentioned below!
This hard for a gnome to do because the water section is too deep... Is elixer of giant growth the only solution?

Yes. I don't pull them as most of the mobs are not elites so not a big boost in xp. They also take a decent amount of time to agro and add another layer of risk. I find myself often going oom prior to getting to the evocate spot without them haha
