I've got the athlex and parallax, as much as I like the grip on the athlex, i quiet like how the parallax feels in comparison and it has those grippy sides. Last year the black version had a red stripe at the back and I wish they kept that instead of going all black this year.
I have a Nano Pop "black" for my Pixel 7. it's made very well, I've been using it for several months and it's really an excellent well-built case with a good protection, the grip is also very good. The only flaw it has is that it's a fingerprints magnet.
The Athlex would be thicker than the Parallax but i wouldn't say it's bulky. It's just made from harder material compared to the thinner, flexible material of the Parallax. No overheating issues with either.
I tried all 3 of these on my 6a and can honestly say that they're probably the snuggest fitting cases I tried. But, ultimately, I returned all 3. The Nano was plastered with fingerprints, within minutes and the "grip strips" on the sides of other two would've been great if they'd been "flush," but that they protrude and make the case look weird (to me) when viewed from the front, eventually put me off!

Yeah they're so good and so well priced. The Athlex for me is definitely one of my favourite cases for the 7 Pro for sure!

Yes the Athlex is more bulky than the Nano Pop. The Athlex is a hard plastic, whereas the Nano Pop is a soft flexible silicone.

How's the lip around the sides of the phone? Is it elevated enough to cover the screen with a screen protector? Thanks.
