I don't know why DICE are so obsessed over making player and weapon models muddy or covered in mud. While it's probably a carryover from Battlefield 5 I don't see the point of it since it gets trigger in first person if you tac-sprint while not on a road no prone involved. Weird logic aside it's one of those graphical effects that I feel don't add to the game or is a negative since it often times covers the skins or camos that people paid for or unlocked. That and it's not like they cover the entire player model in snow if they are on a snow map like Breakaway.

I started editing the BF5 video and during that I remembered what I was originally going to do with all the footage. I was going to do a video for each map in the Strategic Conquest playlist so a lot of videos which also means I have way too much for just one long video. Going to take a bit to get through all of it and try not to go over a hour long in video duration.

Do you still plan on the one video per map deal for BFV or are you just trimming it all to an acceptable length?
I'll probably be deleting a lot and just doing one long video. It's just going to take longer because that is still a lot of footage to go through considering how many maps in the Strategic Conquest playlist. I apparently also have a bunch of stationary gameplay leftover from BFV.
@@Ravic That sounds good, looking forward to it. The stationary sounds fun to see too. Shooting down planes with it was always cool to see as well as towing them with jeeps and chasing people down.

I'm sure they're on their way. Patiently waiting for those spiral takedowns. Not sure if the latest incarnation of the SRAW is able to pull off the AT4 stunts in its current state though.
7:25 is just a perfect example as to why the Breakaway rework is dumb. Launch version had *no* flags where you could die on a flag due to those oil tanks, and it had a flag with two of them next to each other.

@@Ravic Fair enough. I should have rephrased it to *rarely* die due to those oil tanks. You certainly wouldn't lose a tank because of one, unless it decided to hug one of them.
Actually, now that I think about it, the main issue is that the flag on the rework has both close enough that the destruction of one sets off the destruction of the other. That wasn't the case with the old A3 flag.
Ravic, they announced S7 was the last season. Are you making a video of your final thoughts or will you wait until the “final content drop”?
Final thoughts on what exactly? Kind of a broad question and I've already mentioned in quite a few video descriptions things they should or should not have done.
@@Ravic fair point. Your final thought on the lifespan of the game. How it launched and how it progressed. Being a long time subscriber Battlefield is your game title, well to me, and this is one of the games that kinda of made you go and do other awesome videos. And there are good portion of people that ignore descriptions. “Where video is king, written word goes unwatched”
@@CryogenicToast They should have stopped support three seasons ago and just stuffed the year one season passes with way more. Then they could have gotten real development time into the next Battlefield. BF2042 was gimped since before it launched because of COVID, only around 1.5 years of development time isn't enough for any Battlefield game. They never should have done the map reworks or tacked on the Class system. Like the scoreboard it didn't "bring people back" and it didn't fix the game. The infantry vs vehicle combat and 3D spotting were some of the main issues. They never addressed it since launch and it would have gone a long way if they had since doing so would have addressed some of the dumb complaints about the launch versions of the 128 player Conquest maps. All the map reworks did was take out a lot of the choice or options, you're left with very few "possible things to do" on each map now and it's sad because the launch maps had so much more sandbox to them along with actual downtime where you aren't getting constant vehicle spam. They should have focused on 128 or 64, half-assing both just ruins the balance since they never did anything like scaling damage against vehicles based on player counts. When the first teaser trailer for BF2042 was shown and they mentioned 128 players I said in BF5 video descriptions then either they created some magical programming/code that can address the issues with higher player counts or they didn't and it would be rough as f#ck...It's painfully obvious from most people's content my own included that the launch version of BF2042 was more fun or had more shenanigans. If they had taken the time to address the broken OP vehicles a they probably wouldn't have had to do as much work or changes. The easiest thing they could have done is remove the self-repair button for vehicles. Having that plus being able to repair the vehicle from the inside and outside with the repair torch is really bad. It's two different systems from two separate Battlefield games. One or the other, not both. Both results in flying tanks and armor that is seemingly invincible. There are so many little things they could have done and kept their original intent with the game but instead they caved to the vocal minority, the people who don't really play the game, they just do things like sit in vehicles every time or play "hardcore" or hide in infantry only maps or modes.
I am really, really over environmental destruction. I've died to those gas tanks countless times since launch and it's irritating every time.
Anyone else notice that it's very difficult to spawn on a squadmate, friendly vehicle, or beacon when it's on top of the main spawn or (more often) over a captured objective? It always forces me to spawn on the objective or spawn.
Yeah all the time. That could have been fixed presumably if they let you zoom into the spawn screen to differentiate between spawn points that were close together.
You can spawn on a friendly squadmate by choosing one of them beside the map on your HUD
The spawns zones for objectives are retarded in general. You don't know if you'll be on the objective or 130 meters away with no cover surround by enemies
or how it’ll take your cursor off of whatever you were going to spawn on so it spawns you back in the spawn

Also, I’m curious why you use the medbox over the medpouch, I like the pouch better unless there’s an advantage I’m not sure of.
Probably Friday. No. The med box can heal EVERYONE on a 64 player team. The med pouches have limits and like Falck's syrette pistol tends to be a bad habit where the majority of players only end up healing themselves and not everyone else. The med box like it was in BF3 for the med box and ammo box is subtle or passive teamplay. When a play puts one down to heal themselves they end up healing squadmates and teammates whether they intended to or not. They then see the points for it and continue to do so understanding the teamplay aspect of it. Also the med box and ammo box can absorb damage or a few bullets as well as block line of sight on the driver of a LATV4 when placed in front of the driver, so it acts as a sort of visual shield. If people can't see the body or player model they tend to miss or sometimes not even shoot because they aren't sure.

Since season 7 released im having so many issues in game. Losing gunfights because hit reg desyncs 1 of my shots. Vehicle hit boxes are bugged, i got shot out of passenger seat of a tank with a rocket an the tank wasnt destroyed yet i was scratching my head for that one
