▶The Return of Superman | 슈퍼맨이 돌아왔다 - Ep.211

Seungjae is like the almost perfect kid - smart, creative, highly imaginative, articulate, adorable, kind, empathetic, full of energy, optimistic, sociable and handsome. I can watch him all day.
He is perfect already
I pity Seungjae. I feel like sometime in the future, all of this talent he has will backfire at him.

The chocolate tree proved that he really wants Seungjae to keep that creativity and imagination. Jiyong might not comprehend how Seungjae can be so creative but he doesn't take it away from Seungjae. Sooner or later, Seungjae will learn facts in his own pace. For now, let him believe chocolates grow on trees

Steffi J Agree.. i think its sad how he always implies that he wants Seungjae to be normal.. even on the prev test, he was told that Seunjae is gifted. His brain is same with 4-5 yrs old, but the father rather want Seungjae to grow normal:( and the reason is always because of the society. He is affraid that Seungjae cant be accepted in society. And also on this test. Like srsly im so affraid that this gifted kid will be wasted. I wish he will realize that our society is the one that is so wrong rn.. not the special kid like seungjae:( he is so precious..
I personally thought Seungjae might know that the chocolate is made by his appa. At first, Seungjae react as if he couldn't believe his eyes, then he happily hugs his appa might be his act to show his thankfulness.. but i can only guess.. only Seungjae knows ;)
I do wonder if Jiyong used to be like Seungjae, but he got bullied for it and now he doesn't want the same thing to happen to Seungjae.

The hug that Seungjae gave his dad is just too precious and heartwarming. I can see in Jiyong that he was just as touched and so glad that Seungjae believed in what he (dad) did. Awwwww.... Jiyong-Appa, you're doing well. Keep it up.

Seungjae is such a sympathetic kid.. I hope he won't be affected too much by problems when he grows up. Hypersensitive people tend to depress by the smallest things, even if it's someone else's problem. I can relate to him so so much. I used to be a super creative kid and my parents never took that away from me, which I'm very grateful for. Being almost 20 now, I am still pretty much a creative person and I tend to empathize with people a lot, but that can be a problem sometimes. As Seungjae, I am extremely social and love to connect with people, even strangers, but sometimes I feel too affected by other's problems and it usually ends in a lot of stress. My own problems don't worry me that much, but if a friend is going through a hard time, I feel it as if it was me. I hope Seungjae develops a much stronger personality to not be affected so much by external problems or stressful situations without losing that unique way of thinking. The world is a boring place without imagination and people that can think outside of the box. Seungjae fighting!
When he said, "Let's have Jelly Tree" lol, I'd like to see how Jiyong reacts.
I feel seungjae knew it was his dad that put the chocolates on the trees when he paused but decided to play along. Such a sweet child

Ahhh it's really adorable how Jiyong takes everything as something to be aware of, and he even tries to learn from them. He's growing with Seungjae and you can see how they learn from each other every new chapter. I hope I'll marry someone like him, that takes his own personality in account when raising his child (he's aware that even the smallest thing will affect his child in a specific way) Thank you for this chapter, appa Jiyong you're doing really good!

If I would compare you, you would be a needle to a balloon. You bursts Seungjae's imagination like he's eight already. Parents are different I know. You kinda resembles my Mom. Luckily, I grew up just fine with my grandmother. It's perfectly understandable in your situation because Seungjae is your first born and experience. Now, Seungjae can relax with you.
