I'm 55 and I've been listening to house since it first appeared in the late 80's. I find it uplifting that young DJ's like Melvo appear to keep the flag flying. He's a talented lad for sure. The way he fuses house and old school funk is very clever. He's not the only DJ to do it, but he is one of the best exponents of the art.
I have to disagree with the negative comments about the DJs’ hands on the mixer. I can hear a difference with most of the adjustments. When I can’t, I can see he is listening to the next track and making adjustments there. This is all about the DJ adding his personal touches to the mix. He is technically good and I like his ear. Great groove, vibe, and energy throughout the set.
People havnt got a clue mate people dont realise you have to alter the other tracks bass, middle and high to get things smooth on the ears, let the haters hate, one love! House is a feeling

I swear if the MoS doesn't open its gates soon, I'm handcuffing myself naked to the front gates in protest... .for our rights to PARTY!!!!....As much as I totally appreciate the lockdown mixes all the DJ have been so kindly up loading and sharing...we need our stomping ground back and that bass running through our veins once again!!!!
