Dragon Ball FighterZ is the latest game in the long-running franchise that has been entertaining fans since the mid-1980s. Proving itself to be a series with staying power, FighterZ ramps up the formula for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Dragon Ball FighterZ, as its name suggests, is a fighting game with a huge roster of characters. In a similar vein to Marvel Ultimate Alliance, players each select three characters that then form the basis of their teams. While gamers can only control one character at a time, they are able to switch between each of their chosen characters at any point during a match.
The list is huge, so there are endless options to choose from. As it’d be impossible to name them all, we’ve compiled a list of the ones that we think are the most exciting:
• Gohan: the son of series protagonist Goku and his wife Chichi.
• Gotenks: a fusion of Goten and Trunks, appearing alongside Trunks in-game.
• Piccolo: a character allying himself with the Z Fighter army of androids.
The positioning of FighterZ in the Dragon Ball universe is something that fans will be intrigued to learn. Some sources have noted that Goku and Vegeta are wearing their usual Gi armour, placing the game after the events of the Universe 6 saga.
When it comes to performance, fans will be pleased to learn that Dragon Ball FighterZ will run at 1080p resolution and 60fps on Microsoft’s Xbox One. This should ensure a graphically stunning and fluid gaming experience. FighterZ features a design that is faithful in its representation of the original anime series with 3D characters surrounded by traditional 2D backgrounds.

The mod with half Frieza fits in perfectly for the dramatic finish
i swear the only thing keeping fighterz from being perfect are actual variant/dlc outfits, more stages, and an interactive gamemode (something like the daily towers from mortal kombat, ik we have the dlc raid bosses but those aren't as daily or engaging). Don't get me wrong tho, this is definitely in the top 10 anime games across all consoles in my opinion
