Double guitars: check. Synthesized gated drums: check. Synthesized fifths: check. Sax solo that goes everywhere and nowhere at the same time: check. It's the late 1980s all right.
These were THE closing credits at the end of the series finale. I just finished watching on HBO Max. Even 30 years removed from the original airing, I felt sad.
I recall mark linn baker did the voiceover at the end credits for his show.and reginald vel johnson for his show when the end credits rolled on the screen.
No, that's not true. I don't see any episodes on first-run syndication because the theme music composed by Jesse Frederick & Bennett Salvay as well as orchestral arrangers/conductors Steven Chesne & Gary Boren were responsible for the background score for its seven-year run. I don't hear Patrick Duffy's voiceover on the end credits which he said, "I don't do voiceover stuff on most programs since 1978 and my agent said, 'You're not going to do this. Ever. And he was right.""
It's the Emmy nominated "Welcome Back, Kotter" (1975-1979). The successful sitcom has ran for four seasons. Since September 14, 1984, the show was finally aired on syndication - thanks to HBO Enterprises.
You mean this? ua-cam.com/video/DlNu3Mxz7Sg/v-deo.html That was at the end of quite a few sitcoms, I believe. Definitely Growing Pains and Just the 10 of Us

I know, right? And I LOVE it!!!
Yeah, that sax player was like "I'm gonna adlib the fuck out of this end theme -- let me just put on some shades and I'll lay down the track.."

Yes! This was from a VHS tape I had of this exact episode when it originally aired in Malaysia.

That was only for American syndication. This looks like something from outside the US.
@@Attmay True, because Patrick Duffy also did his voiceover on the end credits of his sitcom with Suzanne Somers.

Howard hesseman did his voiceover over the commercial break bumpers.
Look at Robin Givens! This was the season that had a different teacher
Givens was absolutely gorgeous in season 5, she was really entering her prime right around this period of time!
Here from Joa Alex
Its a shame Mr Moore never made a guest appearance on the final episode
Is this the ending to the final episode? I just taped the end credits and never really watched the sitcom.
yes it is
Howard Hesseman was fired from the series after four seasons and replaced by
Sir Billy Connolly in the fifth and final season.
Almost like welcome back cotter

No one I know remembers this show, haha
I do!
Why did Janice come back and the other two from the original season didn't?
Not sure - didn't really watch this show. Just taped the end theme :)
Who else is here from dreams vid?
No Voiceover from Leslie Bega
I try to post credits without voiceovers
TamanSesame I like credit with voiceovers except for Growing Pains because the screaming logo scared the shit out of me.

TamanSesame I wish that logo you told me about had a voiceover too
See I watched that logo with the voiceover and It was fantastic. Kirk Cameron aka Mike Seaver from Growing Pains did it cool.
Isn't there a second ending to this sitcom? If possible could you make the ending without the voice overs too? :D
