could you do an experiment where you choose 4 teams, 1 will have max money, 1 will have max reputation, 1 will have max manager, 1 will have max facilities (excluding stadium) and see who does best?

Should have increased the ticket prices to maximum as well. It would have given them a hell lot of money to spend. It would even get beyond the maximum as they get higher and higher in divisions.
@@slipknottin Yes, you can! 1)Database 2)Clubs 3)Find and click the club you want 4)Finances 5)General 6) "Average Match Ticket Price" and "Average Season Ticket Price" The maximum amount for Average match Ticket is 300 dollars and for Average season ticket it is 10K. “Other” is a way for FM to nerf finances. I have experimented with this after getting those costs as the highest expenses. I did an experiment, and with the only difference being wining or losing the Libertadores, the difference was about 5 million in “other” costs
@@ZaneyGameslAgarioMC You're doing great, man! We are almost in the same situation, I'm 8th after 22 games. Harvey Bradbury and Reece Miller are just carrying the team with 10 (Bradbury) and 9 (Miller) goals...
As somebody who always manages Oxford City, I'm super keen to see where this goes at the 0:32 mark. Seeing Ashby on 12k/week makes me happy. The man has been a stalwart of the club
I did that at Dagenham in my last FM 22 save, wanted an easier challenge as I was waiting for FM 23. Gave myself a 100k stadium adjusting the average attendance to maximum, so much money but I was still limited because in FM footballers don´t care about BIG money 😀, I tried to approach a few Championship players for ridiculous amounts and they all said no.
@@adrianpilcher703 TSG Hoffenheim playing in the German Bundesliga is from a village with a population of 3,259 and is part of the municipality of Sinsheim with a population of 35,707. The stadium capacity is 30,150. Guingamp plays in the french Ligue 2, population 7,069 and stadium capacity 19,033.
The money part is easy. FM does simulate the costs associated with a larger stadium. American sports fans might be familiar with stadium deals that require the local government to foot the bill for operating expenses while the team keeps most/all of the profit. (That's part of the reason the Rams left St. Louis and the Raiders left Oakland. The team wanted a new stadium AND wanted to keep all concession/parking/event income while the city paid for the new stadium's upkeep...while having to find a use for the OLD stadium they're still paying for). A 650-seat facility can easily be maintained by volunteers (so free labor). Not so with a 150,000 complex. Ask Brazil. Heck, ask Greece post-Olympics. But I think the disconnect between the operating money and the transfer budget is funny. 47m transfer budget when you only have 1.8m in the bank? That's Barca-economics right there.🤣
This video hurts. A couple of months ago i finished my oxford city save on fm 20. Around the time i was in the championship the board decided to make a 25k stadium, managed to expand it only to about 35k. It was my first save ever i didnt know thay you cant build two new stadiums in a span of 25 years. I finished the save with all trophies that i could win in 2 calendar years straight including an invincible season at the end. All of that with only a 35k stadium. I might go back someday and simulate a couple of years and then build a new stadium named after me with atleast 100k capacity. I really want to see that happen.
Money doesnt mean everything, it's as much about scouting range and scouts ability to make good judgements. Also where countries can sign players from.
Costs a lot to maintain stadium, stewards etc put ticket prices up to max, change season ticket holders so they get lots of money per game and from season tickets
If you change the fans loyalty to 20, you probably won’t have seen that drop off in attendance. At that point the giant stadium becomes a noose around the clubs neck
Great video! I wish you would have kept putting their average attendance to 150k and see how mental they had gone with all that money! Brilliant experiment though.
If there's a scenario where you're able to do something with Hashtag United, try doing something that would make sense with them. Maxing out their reputation would make sense, and if you also max out their manager, see what that combination gets you. The Tags are currently at tier 8 in the Isthmian League South, but they are in first place last time I checked and I expect them to be at tier 7 next season. Does this game go down to tier 7, or is it only down to tier 6? Either way, Hashtag United is a simulation to keep in mind.
Playable leagues go down to 6th Tier, but you can download databases that includes the entire English Pyramid, so a Hashtag Save is not completely out the question
possibly something something overflowing the number of allocated home seats meaning that they'll get ~142k less than the game thinks they should get (and only get paid as such)
That stadium would make it the biggest in the world, bigger than even the 1st of May stadium in North Korea, which is basically meant to be used for propaganda events.
Tom, love your videos, but 20 seasons at a time?? Yikes... it barely gives me any time to care about them going through the leagues, I know it makes the video way shorter to do it this way but for the time you spent simulating it equals it out to do a longer or multiple part videos. Other FM UA-camrs do it and it's for a reason, it's not just because they want more videos for more ad revenue, it's because it's what we want to watch. We want to see them go through the leagues, how they get on 5 or so years at a time. It's so incredibly jarring to see you just casually sim 20 years in the future, theres little to no enjoyment to be had watching this, I'm sorry to say.
