Wishbone Ash - The King Will Come, Sudhaus Tuebingen, Germany, January 10, 2024

Their first concert in 2024, starting of the tour in Germany at the Sudhaus in Tübingen. One of my favorite songs by them, an all-time classic.
They started out the concert with two numbers before playing the complete "Live Dates" album from 1973. And then they came out for two additional encores.

The playing is still classic Wishbone Ash, great! It's the lead vocals that doesn't cut it for me.

Yes, I can understand, the vocals aren't on the same level as they were in their heyday. To me, they are still o.k., and overall, the music and concert experience is still very much enjoyable.

Agreed, but Andy Powell will be 74 in a few weeks time, maybe not surprising his voice is not as good as it used to be.

Well, I was in the first row, and I am pretty sure I saw two Bluguitar Amp 1 sitting on each of the Orange cabinets, so I think these were used as actual guitar amps, through the orange cabinets. But I am not really sure what setup they actually used.

Yeh,it's kind of like growing up in a broken home,I still love both parents but wish it was like it used to be.Having said that,Mark's guitar playing is stellar!
