I must say I definitely admire your mental Drive. Because in all that heat, looking for gold can take a lot out of you. Please stay hydrated and take care of yourself. And I really enjoy you taking this long on your prospecting, gold hunt. I learn more after watching all these channels that hunt for gold. And it's a little bit different in Australia than it is in the US. I learn more about metal detecting as well. Almost makes me want to be there. 🇺🇸🙏❤

A nice video of you doing what you like best. cannot wait for your Summer series when you get back. I hope you are well & rested from your holiday. Take care and all the best. xx
Do you love looking for gold as much as it looks , it's great being able to watch you, I love to see your hard work pay off, I know how hot it can get around that area later in the year. Stay safe and well.
Agreed, a detector is a tool that requires an operator. No matter which detector you use it helps to know how to use it and that's achieved by practice and many hours of swinging 👩🏼🦯
Auto cue just presented your channel. I was not seeking gold mining, but I started watching, you have the ability to hold my attention. They presented a variety of your videos in no specific order. Some were from 1 year ago with 300, 000 views, others more recent. I lived for 5 years in the Pilbara; the climate is HARSH (winters are great), so hats off to you. Flies were shocking, I needed both hands to work, and had to use bug off (horrible stuff) several times a day. I am curious. Are you there to make your fortune? to make videos? to live the bush experience or a combination of all three? I will watch some more, and the nature of presenting in such a way is that when your machine is making welcoming sounds, and you are emptying the spoon over the scanner, I am wishing you a giant nugget, and when it is rubbish, its next time. I went from the Pilbara, to teaching English in West Berlin. Big contrast. Now I'm old, I cannot bear the heat of West Australia, can't imagine playing tennis in 43* C. Some of the sun rise sunset colours on your videos remind me of the natural beauty, but then memory kicks in and the heat, dust and flies put me off. Anyway, thought I'd write a few sentences and wish you best of luck. Perhaps one day your 50 ouncer may reside in the Melbourne Museum. Keep prospecting, and sharing your experiences, I enjoyed, thank you.
Such beautiful country in the Pilbara, I loved it up there! I'm not here to make a fortune, I've just been enjoying this lifestyle for over ten years. The videos are a fun addition to my day, if I didn't have them I'd probably forget how to talk 😂
Is the water flow east to west, or north to south? Ours in California is east to west, but in ancient times flowed South to North. The Northern Most ancient deposits were extremely deep and were hydraulic mined. So thick they look like mountains.
Do you find that sometimes you find more gold when working in gully's and streams? It seems you usually did well there. Glad you're still finding gold.
That depends on the area I work. Sometimes the creeks are too trashy, then I concentrate on the flats but where there is a lot of water movement because of rain I tend to detect the creeks more often.
@@OutbackGoldFever That makes sense. Thanks for explaining your strategy. I spent a year in Göttingen back in the 80's, and had a chance to visit the wall, which was a very sobering experience. Very beautiful country, I would so love to visit again.
Thanks for sharing your "few hours" with us Krissy. I have to ask, how do you handle all the flies without wearing netting? Would drive me insane girl. Good luck with the shiny stuff !!
Your gold is very clean. If you get amy rusty coverd, or calcite encased gold vinegar is good. On rock covered gold preheat the rock to around 1400 degrees red not white hot. Then quench with vinegar. Once cool etching is easy. You can do several pieces at once that way don't waste your water.
It's very dry out this way, not much movement with water. Instead the erosion takes place because of wind that blows the light material away, leaving all the heavy stuff on the surface.
To start you mentioned from your last video about getting sub grammars, today you're looking for more to get heaps..hope so, how many sub grammars = 1 heap :) Still enjoying home I hope and looking forward to your return.

Not much water flow out this way at all since it's close to the desert... Closest ocean would be about 500km west.
You must have worked your Ring off to go on holidays and leave enough videos to cover your time off. Awesome job.😁😁
Usually I don't film every time I go detecting but it worked out pretty good with plenty of footage to show while I'm away 😁
You need to try the 17 inch for the 6000
There is very if any at all difference on the small bits as well as punching deeper at the same time
I've heard good things about the 17" coil, might try it out one day 👍🏻
A bigger coil will get you a deeper reading in the ground. And possibly larger nuggets.

I wonder if the metal content of hot rocks is worth anything on a big scale. Also have to wonder if they may be from meteors breaking up.
Plenty of big iron ore mines further north 👍🏻

Thanks for sharing your "few hours" with us Krissy. I have to ask, how do you handle all the flies without wearing netting? Would drive me insane girl. Good luck with the shiny stuff !!

Always a like. Even before I watch lol
that really magnetic rock(2:34) may be a meteor
Do you ever check to see if the magnetic rocks are actually meteorites???
Almost every black rock is magnetic out here, I'd be wasting my time. All meteorites found in Western Australia are property of the state...

Maybe I'll look for it one day 😉
@@OutbackGoldFever You should give it a go and become a You Tube sensation if you find it, even just going out that way you should find a few nuggets.
Do you clean the nuggets with vinegar?
No, I usually just use a bit of water if any.

Clean off your magnet before you head out each day, better to see what you pick up and it makes the magnetic field stronger.
Why is there so much heavy material on the surface?
It's very dry out this way, not much movement with water. Instead the erosion takes place because of wind that blows the light material away, leaving all the heavy stuff on the surface.
