I feel like a cool concept they could do with AI voiced racers is if they had an opponent that was literally one of those Robot Race cars made by an engineering team, like in the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League, and in-game they have that "Driver" voiced by AI.
Honestly it's not bad for a $20 game. It is kinda funny though how they put a lot of effort into adding little details into the game to make it feel more alive but then they just use AI to make and voice the characters. One negative aspect that I am surprised you didn't mention was that the Huracan is in the cover and loading screen and whatever but it's not in the actual game (along with the FC RX7 from CarX Drift). If they add the Huracan and FC RX7 in a paid DLC pack that would be scummy. Still, this game has potential to be really good with updates.
@@senorlechuga8832I'm guessing no voice overs and characters, no point having them on mobile. There should be a blacklist of every single game that uses image generation and LLM AI so I know to completely avoid that studio and publisher.
the AI VA & Characters is kinda bleh, i hope that either the devs fix it or modders fix it further down the line, other than that the gp doesnt look that bad
something to keep in mind is they stole a Ferrari f40 widebody kit model for the previous game. it doesn't surprise me that they cut corners by using ai.
1:25 that ghosting effect is because of a bug caused by TAA and NFS Heat used TAA aswell and forced it on consoles, thats why there's a very obvious ghosting effect. The only way to fix it is to play it on PC and turn off TAA but experience jagged lines. TAA has a bunch of visual bugs mainly ghosting in certain things.
I'm glad that the game finally came out. But as for using AI for voice-over and art... I don't know, man. I'm not saying I am immediately refunding it because I want to try it out, but it's tempting. I guess the SAG-AFTRA strike could be louder.
Man, the use of AI for VA and Arts is soo stupid. I REFUSE to buy or even pirate this game just because of that. Common, are you really going to tell me you didnt had money to pay artists and even some VA for it, even if they were bad?

It’s definitely not. The UI, map, and cars might be directly ported, but you’re being disingenuous if you’re arguing the gameplay looks the same. Obviously they’re going to recycle the assets that work, CarX always does. The physics are very obviously different and when you look side by side, the PC version got its own textures. Look at the PC and mobile versions side by side, if you’re being intellectually honest, you cannot make the claim that they’re the same.

Go into settings where you select the accelerator and there should be option to calibrate ( i think its Y ) after that click on invert and leave that setting.
This game definitely feels like it needed More time in the oven to bake, which is probably why there's the $20 price point. For now. It's OK, we'll have to see how the developers handle this game going forward.
People keep trying to show it as this triple A game, but it’s just not the case. It’s basically an indie game, and for an open world racer, a damn good looking indie.
My 2 big issues have been alot of frame dips and poor performance regardless of settings, and the AI stuff. Once I locked my fps to 30 (and even cranked up the graphics to high) and got past all the AI crap, I actually found myself enjoying the game alot, and it does oddly remind me of Heat, for some wierd reason. Also, I genuinly find the handling to be better overall than the crew and the modern NFS games, especially the drifting (go figure). For the price (I bought it as soon as it became available for a listed price of 17ish €, plus a couple extra for some dlc, for a total of just under 20€), I think the game is a good time, and absolutely worth the price, especially considering a full meal at a fast food place in my area costs as much, and lasts me nowhere near as long.
