as you can see at the very beginning Jerry took off her earpiece, the music directors wanted to interfere with her singing performance so the sound was very quiet from the beginning but i love this song so much i support these amazing girls 😍😍😍

"Ukraine is the first among bookmakers, let's see if it is justified".... Hmm. Bookmakers set odds for Ukraine even before it was decided which song would go. It's not about the song. This is about the fact that Ukraine is now the heart of Europe.
That is partially true. Odds are somewhat accurate and they put some countries either too high and too low without any indication who will represent them and with which song. I can see why Ukraine is high but for some other countries, not sure 😅

I'm getting the impression that Ukraine is in their genre blending era and so far it's working fairly well. Maybe in the near future they'll do some sort of folk rock or something along those lines (I know we have 2017 but never hurts to try again)
If it weren't for 2023, I'd say Ukraine really switched to ethno fusion and I like that because we lack that style at Eurovision

In your analysis, I think, you have missed the most important thing in this song - its existential power and spirituality. You can hear in it the Ukrainian character, their tragedy and dignity, and all that they are going through now. Especially women. And your preferred Norwegian song, in my opinion, is infantile and does not say anything to an adult person.
That depends on how you look on things. Every song has a message even if the lyrics are dumb and shallow. I don't necessarily like a song because of its message. It needs to be melodically appealing to me as well to like it. I wasn't a huge fan of the rap part at the moment of recording this video but the Eurovision performance was much much better from Ukraine.
