This video is just great. The panel is very useful, thanks for sharing it. Do you know where I can get a home button that has a white outline? just like the ones you have. All the ones I look for have black outlines.
Can you help me understand why different bookmarks (Open and Close) were created for each page. Instead of saying Sales Nav Open and Sales Nav Close, we can have common bookmarks Nav Open and Nav Close and reuse the same for all the 3 pages. Please help me understand what I am missing?
Hai @ExcelFort, someone please help me, im using the bookmark function EXACTLY like the tutorial on 15:54 , but when i tried to navigate, the 'sales nav open' does not capture what layers i selected. instead it captures 'sales nav open' for both bookmarks. when i tried to reorganize, it wont capture the layers i selected. it like in a loop. can someone help me?
Thanks so much for this video. Great tips. I am working on a program and would love to have pages and subpages. With pages representing a project and subpages their corresponding reports. As an example : sales, cost, profit overview could be subpages to each project within the same program. This will require each page to have a summary scroll down which when click on list all of the subpages and reclicked shows only the page. Any chance you share tips on this please please. Is it possible to set up a various bookmarks at various pages of a same worksheet in powerbi??? Bcoz everytime I am using bookmark it's counting on a single page bookmark list 😅 I want it separate! How to do it ?
Excellent video. I did all the steps and it worked. all perfect. thanks for sharing. Only I have a doubt, when I created a bookmark, when I choose selected visualizations, did not work, I had to choose all visuals, and then it worked. Do you know why? thanks.

This video helped me create a dynamic dashboard with such amazing functionality. My manager loved incorporating a navigation panel in my latest project, and I received very high remarks. Thank you for creating such a clear tutorial. Every dashboard I create going forward will have a cool variation on this navigation panel.
I wanted to apply the bookmarks only on selected objects so that later when we add visuals they won’t be affected. I selected the objects and set SELECTED VISUALS IN the bookmark property to accomplish that.

very nice. i was thinking, In EXCEL, if I had a very big dashboard and had to scroll to the right to see my data. the navigation pane will not be fixed on my current view and I would have to scroll back to the beginning of the page to select it. now the solution could be to freeze the colums where the navigation pane lives, but when you freeze cells a nasty black border is visible and I have no idea how to tell excel not to show the border, it lays in front of everything. Is there a way of blocking the menu pane you have created in the same view position wherever you are in the worksheet? thank you

@@ExcelFort In SSRS, you can open a report and pass parameters to it, filtering the report, so you get a subset of the data (I think you do it with a bookmark and the Data property).

Could you please explain how did you manage that when you have navigation panel open and you go to other page via this panel and going back again to previous page the panel is closed? I am struggling because i cant have it closed automatically. I have to close it manually...
Bookmark the previous page in a mode where the panel is hidden en refer back to that bookmark (state) from the current page.
