Buldak noodles are known to be one of the spiciest Korean ramen brands. I normally can only handle half the spice packet 😅 I also add more cheese to the noodles.

Yesterday I made the mistake of trying out a lil dot straight from the package sauce. Nothing would stop the spice! Not milk. Yogurt. Water. 😂 I was in so much pain

They ARE super spicy but the flavour is so much better than other instant noodles.
For the Buldak noodles: instead of the 8 tsp of pasta water, use milk or cream and only add half of the spicy sauce

I use a silicone muffin tin and make 12 egg bites at a time, I have found that the addition of cottage cheese and j mix in my Vitamix . I crisp up bacon then onions and peppers which I put in the bottom of the muffin cups , then add greater cheese and fill with the egg/cottage cheese/milk or cream . I do this on Sundays and have them for the week or freeze . I bake on a cookie sheet at 375 until they are done , they rise up and then fall back after cooled. The addition you can add are endless .

I picked up the Dash small egg bite maker on clearance and love how it works. I'll spend some time and back a huge batch to freeze for the week.
Does it taste more like a crustless quiche or like an eggy dish? Love for former, not the latter.
I do the same, but put some cooked hash browns too, like a nest. You can either crack an egg into each cup or scramble up 9 and add in a touch of cream and cheese. When I warm them in the microwave, I do it on lower power, like 6 or 7.
I get the sous vide effect by putting the silicone tray in an oven sheet with sides so you can fill the sheet with water; kind of steams them.
FYI…I lost my Oura ring a couple days ago and looked for a couple hours. I found it the next day in my tub of moisturizer. Look inside any jars of stuff you use.

About Paperlike, as someone who draws a bunch on my iPad, paperlike is amazing! It gives just enough friction to make a huge difference. You can get those fine details better. Plus, drawing on a slick screen can cause different annoying things.. hard to explain apparently, I’m having trouble finding the words lol 😅

@@erinwright30I got a subscription to them for my great-niece Christmas of 2022. I renew it annually for her and when they are delivered she calls them her “Aunt Lisa” boxes. They are amazing and she has learned so much! We go up an age group this year, and I plan on keeping it up until she loses interest (not seeing any sign of that yet at all).
As someone who hopped on the trend when the Brumate Era first came out: I'm honestly in love with it. I've owned my 40oz for months now and it's still just as leakproof and easy to clean. (It may have replaced my Simple Modern one for those very reasons 😅) Highly recommend keeping it around even if it's just for traveling. It's also great at preventing toddlers from taking a sip of my drink (tea/coffee) when it's on the table as the seal prevents any of the drink from coming through if it's not set to sip.

That carbonara ramen is my favourite. Less water, the tiniest bit of the spice sauce (cuz I can't do spicy), all the cheese powder. Chef's kiss.
For the Ramen. Drain nearly all the water put back on low heat with a dash of cream (or more to taste) put in flavour and heat through. Add grated cheese. Enoki mushrooms are also good but add them with a minute or so to go in the noodles.
Simple Moderns only “leak” what’s left in the straw so once the straws empty it won’t leak anymore. So significantly less leakage than a Stanley
The hydrojug traveller is also leakproof and easy to clean thoroughly. We love ours.
I have several Brumate travel cups , they work very well and the lids seal extremely tight , I had one replaced because the lid wouldn’t cone off 😜. They have so many different colours and products.

Idk if you have adhd, but my adhd relates to this video so much. The losing things and being so over the exhaustion of losing and looking for things. The forgetfulness and doing so much at once and forgetting timers and the excitement. Also the fidgeting.

As a Brumate lover (I have at least one of everything they sell 😅), the ERA bottle isn't supposed to get hot beverages. But the Toddy & Nav cups are great for coffee (also have lids that can be spill proof! 😉)

I have one of the owala cups that i saw you feature a while after i bought mine. Now that its about 2 years old, it no longer keeps ice frozen for 24 hours but it is absolutely leak proof.
Love all flavors of Poppi and the fact they are healthier soda that's also good for your gut. I actually enjoy them despite not being a huge fan of stevia.
My water bottle leaks, so I bought an Owala water bottle (a newly popular bottle for good reason) for when I'm not home because they are leakproof. Having the two bottles actually makes it easier to keep track of my drink at home.
I love my brumate bottle. It is amazing for throwing in my purse and it keeps my water cold so long. And the straw and turn top come off really easily for cleaning! I get paranoid about mold and mildew and I love how easily it comes apart which helps me feel confident that Ive cleaned every nook and cranny
Also, you can add cream cheese to spicy ramen. It's tasty and cuts down on spicyness.

Large batch semi sous vide, put a large tray with water in the oven almost full and heat to 400 with water inside. Fills muffin tin with your egg mixture. Put muffin tray on top of the water tray so that the tins sit in the water and cook approx 25 minutes
You're describing Bain marie cooking technique, not sous vide. Sous vide is vacuum sealed so the food sits fully surrounded by circulating water that's held to a specific temperature. Sous vide food cannot be overcooked. Bain marie cooking helps regulate the temperature of custards so the outer layer doesn't overcook while the center remains undercooked. In a Bain marie, you still can overcook the food. ovens cycle the heating elements, first heating to above the desired temperature, shutting off to drop the temperature down to the desired temperature. Bain marie cooking is a great technique, but it shouldn't be confused with Sous vide cooking technique. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.
Those waffle cone bites are hilarious to me. I'm Belgian and we have a popular ice cream called Cornetto, it's a waffle cone with this bit of chocolate in the bottom to prevent leaks while you eat it. People tend to really like that last bite of cone + chocolate so it's super funny to see it sold as a snack like that. My friend sold them in her pop up shop a few months ago and the cornetto butts just flew off the shelves.

Note that Buldak ramen is notoriously spicy - I have seen the carbonara noodles made with less spice, and I’m sure that might tickle your taste buds more.
Also… Would I shake the almost entirely leak-proof bottle/cup? No. But if it will leak (even a little) with vigorous shaking, I would still not trust it to stay sealed if turned upside down or if it fell to the side in my bag. Which I feel defeats most of the purpose of a leak-proof bottle/cup.

I loooooove my simple modern cups! A friend of mine had them and I was house sitting for her and when they got back I was like "I have to know where this came from!" I'm not a water bottle snob by any means, I'll use one from the dollar store for all I care, but the Simple Modern ones are just built different.
I love my 40oz era mug! I think the best part is how it comes apart, like the lid and straw all breaks down and you can basically every nook and cranny of it!
I absolutely love the BruMate! The Stanley always frustrated me because I couldn’t mix up my water with electrolytes without making a huge mess. I have no issues with the BruMate. I also enjoy the fact that you can remove the straw components for the dishwasher.
I remember when u did the Stanley water bottle and the others temp checks. I bought the Target simple modern bottle in taupe after that video and I love it so much. I live in hot ass Las Vegas and I left mine in my car while I was moving and it was 115 degrees Fahrenheit outside so it was probably at least 150 degrees in my car alone and that thing stayed cold with ice all day.

In Italy we have an ice cream called Cornetto Algida that has chocolate at the end of the cone: we love it so much that the brand made only the ends of the cones filled with chocolate without the rest of the ice cream. Just to say, these little waffle cones are a big thing in Italy
I discovered brumate a few years back and loved them ever since. I have the coffee cups and the older style water bottles and more recently the 40oz era. I can just throw them in my bag and go. I like them so much I give them as gifts as well. They have something for everyone

@rachhloveslife - I too am a huge fan of the Simple Modern products! And I caved to try the Brumate one. I hate to admit it, but I LOVE IT!!! There is plenty of room for both. I honestly keep a water bottle at my desk, in my car, next to my bed, and then at the couch. I use the Brumate one mostly at the couch because my cup tends to get knocked over by the dogs.
I absolutely love simple modern. SUCH a good brand and my go to for cups and water bottles!!

The formula is also different between Europe and the US. It’s less sweet and more orange forward there, which I prefer. I wish it was made that way here.

Those just the fun part snacks are AMAZING! I find them at tj maxx and marshalls. The peanutbutter and the strawberry are my favorite. They are great if you want something sweet but not alot.

I LOVE my Owala bottles. They have an easy open button with a straw so no hassle to drink, and they hook snaps over the opening so nothing spills. I literally throw full bottles of water in my backpack with my laptop and I’m never worried. Plus, they’re insulated and keep drinks cold for a long time. Also dishwasher safe and easy to detail clean. No built up gunk in impossible to clean places!!
I do have too many cups but I love my brumate Era cup, like y'all it has been tiny little drops now and then but so much easier to clean and love that the straw is in the middle

I have a travel mug from Brumate, and I LOVE it. Especially since I ALWAYS spill coffee from my travel mug while trying to put my laptop bag, purse and lunch box in the car!
I’ll be honest, that Brümate is currently in my wishlist on Amazon. The leakproof locking top is the part I like.
As for those little cone things, they’re supposed to be just the bottoms of the sundae cones from the grocery store, like Drumsticks. I’d put them in my dish of ice cream.
Dash egg cooker. Makes the best hard boiled eggs but it at also does little egg bites too. More uses, and if you get the 12 egg sized one, you can make multiple egg bites too. Highly recommend!

My Brewmate is 100% leakproof. You have to just make sure it’s completely locked, it took me a while to get used to but you have to kind of push it past the point you’d think you need to, to lock it. I’ve never had an issue even if I tip it upside down & shake it like you guys did. I love it, I have one for my coffee too without a straw that completely leakproof as well. I use them both every single day.
That chocolate waffle thing is the end bit of a cornetto. Probably why the tag is 'the fun part'. Used to be the only reason i got a cornetto because of the chocolate bit at the end 😂
I have a simply modern, the 30 and 40 oz Brumate, and an Odwalla tumbler as well. I use the Brumates the most, since they are leakproof.

I love BRUmates cups. I just hope they make more colors (especially the Charcoal Galaxy) for the leakproof mug. Also, BIG fan of Poppi lately, they’re an Austin born and based company and have really helped me kick regular soda to the curb (Doc Pop is my favorite!)
15:30 If you find the noodles are too spicy, you could always add some sour cream! It'll cut the spice level, and make them even more creamy!
The warming mat is used along for the rising of breads during cooler environments such as reference fir fermentation lol

I love the paper feel screen protector. It’s great for drawing on the iPad it makes shading and stuff so much easier for me. But I totally get why someone might not like it. It definitely doesn’t feel like paper.
I use the paper feel on my iPad for taking notes for school because I don’t like the feeling of writing on the glass screen and I love it but it does wear your pencil tip down and I’ve had to buy replacements
The simple modern is leak proof. We bought one for my dad for Christmas since his grip is weak and he drops it all the time and it does not leak even with the straw out.
This was my favourite level of chaos and exactly what I needed. Also added that drink bottle to cart straight away!

For the ramen, what I've done to make it better and I like it a lot more is: instead of draining all of the water, I leave some in there so it's more ramen liquidy type instead of pasta vibe. I also add a couple splashes of milk so it is creamier and cuts some of the heat. Then I also only use about half of the spice sauce packet so I can adjust to my vibe. Lastly, I then sprinkle shredded cheese on top with green onions and sometimes fish cakes.

My new Starbucks cup (pale mint green) is 100% leak proof. My husband got it for me for Valentine’s Day along with 2 others. He also told me he was hoping I didn’t like it so he could have it, so I bought him one. I really do like it.
I love having a leak proof cup for when I have my coffee in my drink holder when I leave for work and my water cup full on my passenger seat and knowing it won’t leak if and when it falls over when I turn, or when I put it in my bag because I have too much in my hands.

I think I might have to try the Brumate cup. I don’t understand the hype of the Stanley cup either. It’s a cup! 😂 I have three 32 oz “Bubba” cups that I got for about $15 each at Walmart. I love them for my iced tea. It stays very cold. The one I use for water on my nightstand still has ice in it in the morning. My work one still has ice in it at the end of a 12 hour day.
I have a similar product on my iPad. While it doesn’t feel like paper when you are writing, it feels better than the slick surface of the screen. The main reason I wanted it is because it is also anti-glare which I love.

20:18 owala’s sealed children tumbler does similar but without a switch, and you have to suck on it with quite some strength and is less volume
