21:34 It doesn’t matter who’s core you declared for. Using the “Return Core” option always has no cost in a reconquest war. You can make them return any core, even if they’re not yours or your subjects’. Same works for claims in a conquest war as long as you declare for your own and not a subject’s claim.

In the peace deal if you read the bottom text it will say transfer such and such province, except if you take all it will say "Demanding full annexation."
In a reconquest war, 21:30, you can use the return province button to give wales its cores too and its within the scope of the war goal so its not gonna cost extra diplo or anything.
if you do that, it uses your subject's province warscore modifier which is usually worse than yours so it takes more warscore. this is why he usually does it by transferring occupation instead.
@@twocows360 i'm pretty sure it's actually the transferring occupation and directly ceding as if it were conquest rather than using the return core tab is the one that uses the subject's warscore modifier, it's always less warscore to just hit the return core options during a reconquest war
Short tip for naval warfare: If you are about to start a war, place your shipstack on one of your enemies. You could have sunk about 15 isolated british ships in the beginning.
At 21:20, you actually can return the other subjects cores as if it was their war, but it must be done via the return core tab in order to count for the CB
I did the Spanish Fly achievement recently. Found it really useful doing two show strength wars straight away. Gave me a massive advantage that carried me through to the end of the challenge. Fun and fairly easy and all wrapped up before colonialism
You can simply sort the province ledger for "war score" and pick the cheapest provinces. Those are always the colonies and you don't even need to see them. No need to take Exploration for this.
I wait for the moment when you will be forced to play as, for example Yazd and te timurids are unexpectedly capable decing ajam and taking controll over their subjects making your campaign as the only zoroastrian nation a living hell (in such scene no repeating)
You dont have to transfer provinces manually when reconquering vassal territories, you can go to the return provinces tab and from there transfer it to subjects, wich has reduced war score cost also
27:25 Now I have to play as Tunis and get those exact borders to see if the name aligns perfectly then. Also, sounds like another reason to make Laith play another Tunis campaign 😅
21:06 If you use the return core tab in the peace offer menu in any reconquest war all return core demands are free from diplo cost and at the lower AE and warscore cost regardless of which nations cores you declare the war for.. You say it's the rarest nation in the British Isles. For me it's a nation I've seen getting the Burgundian inheritance. Also I think that nearly all other English releasables are seen less often.
You should just record the nations that you failed to get independence and combine them all in a compilation video when you finish all the other nations
Man, it’s too bad that the game doesn’t list the war enemy’s provinces in the peace deal screen on the left in the same area where you select other options like war reps, money, vassalization, etc. but on the “cede provinces” tab. It sure would make it easier to check what provinces your enemy has to make sure you can accomplish the specific task of full annexing an enemy. But again, too bad the game doesn’t do that, huh?
Seems like he doesn't know how to min/max re-conquest war peace deals. Best is to give province that war was declared for directly to vassal and "return-core" to rest of provinces. Do all vassal return-cores (or as many as possible) at once. Then future wars are just conquest.
Bring back guides pls, releasables is getting a bit boring and the A to Z has been unhinged goal after unhinged goal. Id rather see you play out interesting mission trees! Also, for everbody, anybody know some good mission tree mods?
Start as Ormond and conquer today's Ukraine border and have no other provinces except the Ukraine. After that win a war against Russia with 100% warscore.
I'm still trying Surguja, Corfu and Patiala...
Lol
I think it's a skill issue. I did it on my first try using console commands.

My experience is that this won't work all the time. Because the list resets the moment you occupy (unoccupy) a province.
