@@NickDowner no big plans. I just got done with a coupe and not trying to take it apart. It's actually a 6cyl 🤣 maybe swab for something like a 302 no coyote for me. I wanna get some miles on it.. some smiles per gallon. Maybe later. It's a good 25k swab right or more
Totally makes sense! It was an easier decision for me since my car is already in pieces. If it was running/driving I'd hate to take it out of commission for a long time
I’m doing the same panel painting on my 68 Fastback. do you happen to have an order of re assembly of all the rear panels and trim as i’m trying to avoid putting them on in the wrong order. TY
How has the product held up since it’s been about a year? Does it scratch easily? It looks like you just washed and painted. Did you need to apply any primers?
Can those vent grilles be rechromed? I heard the plastic ones can lose their paint easily when cleaned and weren't great quality, although they look fine in your video. How did you choose a disc for your angle grinder? Did your interior trim screws come in a package? (Pictured @ 12:58) Thanks, Nick!
Yeah I heard the same thing about the plastic ones... I'm hoping mine hold up if I'm extra careful 😀 They do feel way cheaper and kind of junky in person. For the grinder disk... I think I just grabbed a higher grit "flap disk" and was super careful. Flap disks tend to cut way slower than a normal grinding disk. Yeah I actually ordered a master screw set for the exterior and interior of the car! It's been awesome. Comes with everything you need, all brand new Let me know if you have any other questions! Thanks for watching!
So I used: "SEM 39143 Trim Black Aerosol" in black color. I got it on Amazon. It does take quite a few coats to cover the pieces so stock up! I'm excited to get them in the car the color looks great
@@piyushkanthak1087 hmmm I'd say I have two big ones. My service center is far away, and the car is definitely super expensive. You do save a lot down the road on gas and maintenance though
GREAT… now you got me wanting to rip everything out of my 67’ and repaint everything. THANKS A LOT YA JERK!
Haha! 😂 Gotta make it like new! Your stang looks meannnnmnn! What kind of engine are you running?
I really appreciate this video. I have to to all the some stuff on mine soon 👍
Looks good!
Thanks Sean!
Awesome, just got my fastback n going to do same
Congratulations! They are quite the project 😀 Do you have some big plans for yours?

Did you put the side scoop ducting in for brake cooling or just close up those intakes?

Looks great bro. What color are you going with
Right now I'm thinking 2019 Bullitt green and getting most of the chrome powder coated black. But I need to make a decision soon! haha
What brand was the interior paint? Color?

@@NickDowner Thank You 🙏🏽
@@loc2dabrainwc most definitely!
Paint looks splotche.
@@shawnmccluskey4820 yeah it definitely took multiple coats and high grit sanding to get it perfect on some pieces.... The more coats the better
Where are you getting your interior parts?
I've been ordering from CJPony parts so far and have been happy with them so far!
how is the Tesla?
I love it! It really is a completely difference driving experience (and FAST). Plus its awesome not having to go to gas stations!
@@NickDowner that's great sir, any negatives you feel?
