Boyibanda is amongst the Greats in Rhumba music, whether you like it or not. He has dispensed the lifetime energy to make Humanity happy. His vibrant dancing style bears witness to what i am talked about, leave alone the long list of songs he composed. Rip. Dr. Ogeto International
Best dancer for sure. Vocalist, he was certainly one of the best, but what to make of Joe Mpoy, Madilu, Josky, Youlou Mabiala, Lola Checain, Ntesa? They were all great!
Best dancer yes, but it's a joke to say he was the best vocalist, there are other iconic voices in the singing corps of TPOK lineup There are voices one can never confuse for anyone else in that group for their purity tunefulness, strain free delivery
Mr Boyibanda caught my attention with his fluid and mesmerizing James Brown dance steps recorded in black and white videos in the early days of 1975 and thereabouts. Is he still alive?
The exploitation of one another in Congolese music and in Africa generally is unbelievable...one would expect these old stars to have been millionaires.
They were artists who sang for the love of music and entertainment, not mercenaries. That is why they could not live with the lot who left creativity to machines, to make money!
L état kongolais azali mabe makasi papa boyibanda akoki kosuka boye te jeunesse nioso alekisi na RDC vraiment gouvernement bozali ba ndoki yango wana bo sukaka mabe
Tous trop bons. On ecoutait à travers nos vinyles
