We're talking about spelling errors that make you go 'huh?' and photos that'll make you scratch your head (or replace your head?). They might not make us rich, but they're fun to check out. Topps had a similar issue in 2023 heritage with card #100. They left the card out all together, but then included it in Heritage High Number.

I’m pretty new to this. I have a Kershaw #386 that is denoted White Border but has a red border. Same thing for a #245 Bryan Woo?
Topps apparently messed up all the red border cards, those ones all say white border!
The Blue Sparkle, Purple Hot Box, and some of the Chrome refractors of Jeimer Candelario #221 say Guardians instead of Reds. Weirdly enough, some of the chrome and his base card are listed correctly as Reds.
Yeah I saw that one the purple Jeimer I got! Very strange, didn’t realize the chromes had reds on it lol thanks for chiming in!

I'm amazed that people know enough about baseball to notice these things. There are so many players! How can you memorize what each one looks like to see that it's the wrong photo!

@westernnycards just checked ebay I think with the black borders the ones that say black border are the ssp can't find one all that shows the back says white border or did I hear you wrong 🤔

From a Topps email, "These goofs are actually intentional and are part of the Heritage series of cards. It's not a quality control issue, but a conscious attempt to have some fun with the series of cards."

I pulled a 1/1 Super Color Blast RC Auto of Jasson Dominguez but they gave me a sum Bum on the front named mm without his auto SMH LOL
Sporadically finding reverse variation of stock color. Where the pink and green are a different hue and the borders are more white than grey. (Not flip stock)
The number on the bottom of card 407 lets u know its a short print....it matches all the other numbers for short prints
These cards suck! Should have never been produced. Heritage cards are only to steal your money because they are horrible.

You know after 30 years of being out of cards..I like them ..a lot .I love old school baseball, and love the "feel" of these sets
Topps laid off its QA department back in October and replaced it with Ai, right when this product was routing haha - Ai sucks at everything and anyone who replaced human staff with Ai deserves to be sued to infinity.
All my white border, black border and red border cards (about 20 total) say white border, so i would assume if any actually say the correct border color might be more rare,,,,also to note, the flip stocks do not say anything about being a flipstock above the number, its just kinda noticable that it is when your holding to sjde by side
Yeah I did pull a flip stock on the channel for the first time and they are super cool! My white border cards are all correct and say white, it’s weird lol

Great research here, but to me, if the variations, SP, errors, or any other mismatch card is not a rookie or star, it's pointless. Like a white or black border card, if it's a pure common, it's no value to me. To me, the biggest blunder of these cards ars the unreadable backs. Thanks for your channel, bro.

Awesome video, have you seen any cards from this set that have an extremely light colored back? I've got a couple, but the front isn't rough so I don't think it's a flip stock.

I heard that the #407 short print might have been intentional by Topps as a nod to the 1975 Topps Herb Washington card #407 which was an unusual and notable card.

What do you do with the extra cards? I don't buy a lot of boxes but the extra cards i have i give to my friends kids
I sort into complete sets and put them on eBay usually, some I give away

I pulled 115 Clay Holmes, says white border.Border is red and maroon. Also pulled 493 Zack Wheeler Black Border. Back of card has regular 493..

3 cards I found with errors. All have the same front border, red upper/dark red(burgundy) lower. They have "White Border" above the numbers on the back. #273 Peraza, #344 Leahy, and #64 Manaea. I pulled them all from the same monster box. Anyways, new subscriber here, thanks for the content.

I have a card #204 of ohtani/Betts it says white border on the back but it's not white bordered.
