When did I ask them to produce the same thing? The argument that I made was that Ferry has gone back to using modern trance elements in his tracks and he is producing better music because of it. Its very evident that Group Therapy, Tri State and Sirens of the Sea are Above & Beyonds best albums. Why? because in those albums they were producing music for them and no one else. They were making music that they loved and not making music that followed trends. Its not about what is trance and not trance. Above & Beyond is about the relationship between utter darkness and true elation, and that is what they should be focussing on. Take black room boy or liquid love for example: dark undertones, heavy driving and progressive basslines with intricate melodies. They understand the underground and they should be adapting that to their new album in my opinion.
They have the vast fan base now they should put focus back on creating music that will last for ever! Music that will change lives etc. Im not bagging them, I just believe that the music in their last album wasn't as heart wrenching as the other albums.
Great mix. Giving it a 2nd listen. Ferry was great @ EDC in Orlando last year. Simply fantastic. Hope he does another cruise event sometime soon. Would be unbelievable.
