it cannot be stressed enough how much the "one day prep" helps. I took that advice from Fouad and now every sunday I do my meals that I need to bring to work (I still prepare breakfast and my supper at home) and it makes all the difference.
This is real life “in the trenches” bodybuilding...the way Kai Greene would put it and what it takes to be successful. This is what 90% of bodybuilders have to do. They don’t all have meal prep companies, big fancy kitchens and all that stuff...I love this aspect!!!

I comment alot but i got good question. I meal prep for 2 days at a time so heres my question how do you get your chicken not to taste like rubber and the rice not to be hard as a rock even after adding water to the rice. And how do you thaw the food back out?
I can tell you the chicken he cooks here doesn't taste great. He grills it while it's too thick which means by the time the inside is cooked, the outside is dry. Then freezing it and microwaving it is just gonna make it not good at all. It's why he drowns it in sauces. Bake your chicken breast in the oven or if you're gonna grill/pan fry it, cut it horizontally (called butterflying) so it's two thinner pieces. There's plenty of simple recipes online. Unless it's necessary, I don't recommend freezing your meals after cooking it. I usually make enough for the work week and just cook meals on the weekend.
No you don't. Chicken breast is just popular because it's cheap, very lean, and high in protein. Beans is a great source of protein since it's also high in fiber. If fish is cheap in your area, that's also a great source too. In the end all that matters is the macros.

You could put all the chicken in a 400 degree oven on middle rack and it would all cook in 25 minutes.
He likely just prefers to grill his chicken. A lot of bodybuilders do.
