I've been contemplating on getting this Polène Numéro Un bag since the nano size was released. I love how it looks! I initially wanted the navy blue which is why I was holding out a bit on this purchase but it's still out of stock for so many weeks now so I finally went ahead and purchased my second choice in craie grainé/chalk textured leather. Delivery was quick! It only took 5 days despite the current situation worldwide.

This bag only weighs 0.41 kg / 0.90 lbs! It's a tad bit lighter than the Louis Vuitton Croisette which weights 0.51 kg / 1.12 lbs.
I am also thinking of getting the mini size but I'm a bit worried if it's going to be too heavy because it has a chain strap after all. If you have the mini, please let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

How much does the bag weigh?
Great question! It only weighs 0.41 kg / 0.90 lbs. I completely forgot to add this very important detail to the video but will now update the description to include this and will also remember to mention the weight in my future handbag videos as well. Thank you so much for reminding me! ❤

Great choice! Cognac was actually my 3rd choice of color but since I already have a lot of dark colors in my collection, I decided to go for the chalk. I hope you'll love your new bag! 🙂
Would love to know how yours is holding up. I got mine on 3/23 and have a small white mark from wear. A bit disappointed since I’ve only taken it with me to the grocery.

Hi, I always wear dark colored pants and tops (mostly black and dark blue) and have not had any issues with color transfer so far. This is still the bag I'm using to date since I got it--although I have not tried wearing it with jeans yet.
Im still waiting for this color to be back on stock.. but im thinking about the cognac? What u think? I cant choose.❤️
I emailed their customer service before as I really wanted the blue as my first choice but they do not know when they can get it back on stock. They just asked me to click on "email when available" and I did twice. I waited for about a month or so until I can't wait any longer 😂 Then when I decided to finally order, I was so torn between the cognac or chalk. I was worried the chalk would easily get color transfer especially since I wear a lot of dark clothing but then I decided to take the risk since I don't really have much of this color in my collection anyway. I would say go for the cognac if you can't wait anymore because perhaps with the current situation, it may take them a while to get sold out colors back in stock. Hope it helps 💗

Hi Joyce, I was wondering if you had to pay anything related to custom tax. Before the payment, I got this message: Customs taxes will be apply and are at your expense (around 30% of the bag's retail price)
Hello, Kristin. Yes, I had to pay customs charges. The rate will depend on your country/state though and which country the item came from. In my case, I live in the Middle East (Qatar to be exact) and only had to pay around USD 11 which is barely 5% of the bag's retail price. I also purchased the regular sized Polene Number One for my mum (retails for USD 420) on a separate transaction and I paid the exact same customs charges (USD 11) regardless of the retail price difference. Perhaps it's because the items came from Europe and it's a flat rate if coming from Europe (or at least that's what I understand 😅). I had an experience of purchasing something from the US before and ended up paying a whopping USD 85 for a USD 199 item (around 43% of the retail price) for customs charges! That was just insane! 😑
I highly suggest you make an inquiry first. Perhaps give your local courier company a call and inform them of the retail cost and where the bag will come from because it may have an impact on the customs rate. I received both bags through DHL but I'm sure any of your local courier company will know how much the charges will be as per your country or state's regulations. Hope this helps. ❤

Oh wow, what a coincidence! 😊 You will get a notification from DHL in that case. You will usually have the option to pay for it in advance via DHL's website prior to delivery or through cash--but not so sure about cash this time due to the COVID situation. It will only be QAR 40 😉
