I'm definitely gonna keep an eye out for the Sprocket rework video. Everything you described about it sounds amazing. Not being able to heal targets at range was the main issue I have with the current version of Sprocket.
I didnt get to play the playtest cause im a steam deck user(I do hope they fix by launch if not i still got switch ig) but it does look really smooth on pc and i look forward to having more people to play the game with.
@@SpookieJawa I'd disagree actually. You see, if they end up going with Sprocket's rework, then Sprocket will lose two of his core abilities (Defense Drones and Targeting Drones). Both of them significantly improve Sprocket's ability to support the team. Also, Sprocket will lose his AOE healing drones which was the best healing output in the game and replace it with single target drones. If Sprocket ever gets dived, he has fewer options than before. Before, he could defend himself. Now all he has are his healing drones which don't heal that much and his new turret doesn't deal that much damage to save him. Personally, I liked him the way he way he was. He was already fantastic in season 1, then they buffed him for some reason in season 2 and gave him another buff (and slight nerf) in season 3.If they wanted to nerf him, they could just nerf any number of things about him but instead they've gone with the nuclear option and removed him of his core identity.

Cap
Sprocket was so good and now his abilities suck
@AvocadoBeast to each their own. The current iteration of Sprocket is a great damage dealer. A support he is not.
